I wasn't sure about spending $30 on a shaker but I use mine between 4-6 times a day. That is a lot of shaking and cleaning of components. This cup is easy to clean and is basically just like a regular cup with lid when it comes to cleaning it. The holder for your protein or pre/post is nice and makes life easy if your on the go. the cup is pretty cool looking as well and feel durable. you can tell its going to hold up and not fall apart on you. I like it as well because it mixes things a lot better and thus you don't get any of the build up at the bottom from everything not completely mixing. Also ensures protein is mixed very good and makes it smoother.I read a few reviews about the mixer being plastic and if it would hold up of not. First, yes it is plastic but there is nothing wrong with that. Shouldn't be a issue unless your jamming a cleaning tool inside of it when you wash it. Then it might break at some point.Now for one of the biggest questions I saw- Can you mix ice in it? The answer to that is yes but I wouldn't try it with thicker ice. I have a ice machine that makes ice like the sonic ice. After I mix the drink I add a scoop or 2 of that ice and then lightly push the button and it mixes it at about 50% power. Works great and i have no worries about it breaking the mixer. That type of ice breaks up easy versus the solid made ice that probably could damage the mixer.Overall its a great mixer and worth the money. You will get some comments about being lazy and if you don't use a shaker multiple times a day then it probably is lazy but who cares if you like it.

This PROMiXX iX-R has been great to date. It has an intelligent design and is easy to clean, use, and to recharge when necessary. I'd purchased an earlier version of the PROMiXX several years ago and this one is about twice as powerful.It holds a good volume of fluid and liquid and mixes the content of protein shakes quickly and really well. The vortex action in the liquid draws the content from the surface down into the plastic blades for thorough mixing. Don't even need to put the cover on when mixing as nothing flies out of the top.I also like that the cup has measurement marks to track how much you're pouring into it which is convenient if you're controlling intake.I just sit it on the counter, fill the cup, press the 'On' button, and let it run about 10 seconds. All good. I generally use it every day.Lately, I'm filling it with pasteurized liquid egg whites, cold spring water, chocolate or vanilla whey protein powder (maybe some ground cinnamon in the vanilla!) and it yields a really smooth protein shake.I don't think it's intended for ice or heavier contents like fruit. I may give it a try for quick and easy scrambling of eggs.

I have been skeptical of the these mixers ever since I first saw one back in 2014. Then, they were powered by two AA batteries and I realize some models still are. The reason why I was skeptical to begin with was the power issue, as well as the quality and build of the mixer. The agitator looks cheaply made and I didn't know how long the small parts connecting the motor to the agitator would last. Well, this particular mixer is great because it's rechargeable. The agitator is still the same style and still looks cheap, but I have to say, I've used it for nearly a week and it doesn't show any signs of giving up. It mixes very well if you follow the instructions. The lid fits nice and secure, as does the motor housing. The overall mixing container is very sturdy as well. It's easy to clean and has a nice appearance. Time will tell if the components start breaking down, but so far I'm happy with my purchase.

So, this review is a bit tricky. I am giving the manufacturer 5-stars because I received exactly what they described. Based on their description, I received exactly what I should have and it performs accordingly.The problem is that, after using it, I really don't see any advantage to just mixing my shake with a spoon or container with beater ball. There's just literally nothing here except the coolness factor ("watch my drink mix while I do absolutely no effort"). But, again, it does exactly what they say it does.So why did I order it? Bit of ignorance, bit of "oh, how cool!", and a bit of hope (that it might really mix things better than I can with a spoon or container/beater ball).I've used it, and it works as advertised. But the same day I used it first I decided I had to order a small personal electric blender (meaning one that plugs in). I did that for two reasons. I drink a pre-workout 'mix' that involves 8 ounces of coffee and about 10 grams of various powders. This is the one that I have used this mixer with. It has been ok, and maybe it does mix better than a spoon o0r container/beater ball (I'm not sure, it's close). But I also drink a post-workout smoothies and that one has things in it that this mixer can't handle (which they tell you clearly in the description). I already have a Vitamix for that, but at 6 am in the morning it wakes the entire household. So, the latter need drove me to purchase a personal plug-in electric blender with power to crush frozen items and mix heavier liquids and more powders. But I also see myself using that new blender in lieu of this 'shaker bottle' because I'd expect a better blending of materials from it.So, that's my story. The description is spot on, this product is exactly what they say it is, and it appears to work well; hence 5-stars. But this does not best meet my needs. Be sure and carefully consider your needs before purchasing. If you believe it aligns, then I think you would enjoy this item.

I use this mixer about 4 times a week and it didn't even last 6 months.Having a hard time finding contact info for seller.Very disappointed!UPDATE:Customer service has been giving me the runaround for a week or so now!

I purchased this expensive item. But it is not rotating the liquid inside. I only used protien powder to mix. It was working fine for first few months. It is still under warranty but i dont know how to redeem that
