I am a Xikar fan from back when they first came out with the teardrop design double cutter so many years ago and when I saw this V cutter or some will call a cat's eye I knew I needed it. I love the V cutter for keeping the tip of my cigars in shape but allowing for a nice full draw but I never had one that would do anything bigger than a 50 ring gauge. I had to go to a bullet cutter or use my double guillotine cutter to clip the bigger sizes. This is a beast of a cutter and will do any cigar size you will ever find, minus a crazy novelty roll.It fits great in my hand, easy to operate, and cuts very smoothly. It is "heavy" duty and will cut through every type of cigar I have put into it with no problem and gives a very crisp/clean cut. All my fellow cigar aficionados enjoy this cutter and it has become one of the main go-to options. I would buy this again in a heartbeat if it ever gets lost, as I don't think it will ever wear out. Great cutter!!!

This is my first v-cutter and I can’t see myself going back to a straight cut. This cutter looks, feels and works great. Xikar also has a good warranty so between that and the sub $40 price on Bolo it was a no-brainer.

What can one add -- Xikar is the best. I have a couple different types, love them all. I had never tried a V-Cut before until a friend used one on my cigar when I didn't have mine with me. Like it so much I ordered one for myself. This VX2 V-Cut Cigar Cutter works great, helps make the draw on some cigars a little easier too (in my use anyway). If you're looking for a V-Cut, check this one out, you won't be sorry you picked it!

Quality product and undercuts the Colibri by a few bucks. The V cut blade came sharp, feels solid in hand, and the action is smooth. Make sure when cutting your sticks you make a strong and fluid chopping motion to ensure a clean cut on your caps.
