I purchased the leather-wrapped handle variation of the jumping bat in the 16 inch length. The leather work is quite nice, the handle is capped w/ a round piece of steel that I intend to engrave; there are Turk's-heads at either end of the grip, they are well-tied and aesthetically pleasing. The leather is pristine, no uneven spots, discolorations, et cetera. It is true and light. The stitching is excellent. Overall, outstanding workmanship, and a crop that I think will last a lifetime of riding.

I ordered this as a replacement for my daughter’s crop that she lost at the barn. Very good quality and perfect replacement. She has been riding for over 5 years, 4 times a week, and uses the crop for training and in hunter competition.

The crop seems quite well made with tightly braided handle. The triangular slapper is leather and makes a decent sound when struck against a surface.I purchased this as a prop for use in a show and think it will work well. Perhaps after the production is over I could find another use for it. All I know is that I won’t be able to afford a horse.
