I have been a Visio customer for years. Literally every TV in my house is Vizio. This review is not directed at Vizio, it is directed at how bad this TV is. They've always been my favorite brand of TV until this one arrived.Within a week we have been having issues with the sound from the TV. This has been ongoing for the last 3 months. To fix it you have to unplug the power cable from the back of the TV and wait 30min to an hour for it to work again. We have to do this about once a week.Without a doubt the most annoying and worst implemented feature of this TV is the Chromecast. This device freezes about every day. Initially when we got it the Chromecast worked for about a month with no issues. Every time you call tech support they tell you to factory rest the whole TV. I have done this 9 times and they refuse to do anything else to fix this. Since it first started freezing it now will do it consistently every single day. Again, just like the sound the only fix is to unplug the power cable wait 30min to an hour and then plug it back in. The factory reset has never worked for longer than an hour and I would not recommend it because of how long it takes you to login to each app again. Unplugging the power cord will get you a whole day before it freezes again.I have spent more time with this TV turned off trying to fix the issues with it than I have with it working. I would highly advise you buy a different Vizio TV because this one is basically garbage after a month of use. I am going to see if support will exchange this TV and I will update my review if the one they send me works better.

Great picture and price. Not sure i like the smart setup. I am used to an Bolo fire tv. But i do like that it has their own watchfree vizio app where theres tons of movies and shows. I dont think i can get Disney+ it has all the apps already loaded on it.

Going by the reviews I wasn’t expecting much from this tv but it is fantastic, great picture quality, I love the ease of navigation through app menus and the app options provided, the remote is easy to hold, has excellent range and easy to use, good sound quality. This is the second Vizio tv I have bought and I would definitely buy again

My original version of this TV died--all vertical lines. But we loved it so we bought the newest model. The original of this TV had a superior user interface than an older version at a larger size. THIS version has taken a very easy user interface for things like turning closed captioning and how it is displayed and made it nigh impossible to use. There are several ways to engage it, but none seem to result in actually turning them on. That is one example of several. The new remote is weird, overly sensitive, and not intuitive.The picture is fabulous. If the interface had not been designed along the Microsoft model of changing to say we changed and not to actually improve things or make things less of a cognitive challenge, I'd give it 5 stars.I, like many, work all day doing complex and challenging tasks. All I want from my TV is to actually turn on the cc when I hit the button, or go through the menu, or select it when the bottom of the screen options present. I think that is a small thing to ask.

This purchase was flawless. Arrived in two days, easy set up, auto updated, and then the picture quality was outstanding. This was my second attempt at buying a "renewed" product. The first, from a different vendor, was broken internally, so I was just taking a chance to get it right this time, and it worked great. Thanks for renewing my faith in recycled products.

Vizio 40 in connections smart tv
The TV works good after I managed to properly connect the Ethernet cable to TV. I do not use WI-FI but have cable connections. This is my 2nd Vizio TV --The first was a 32 in --had for about 10 years. Still works. This one is 40 in. It seems that some items are not clearly in focus --but I am only 10 ft. away. This is a smart which has a lot of controls you can adjust if needed. It takes some getting used to. Many color adjustments if needed. I had some set-up issues that could have been avoided if a set-up manual was included. The instructions found on the internet --but what I did not know is that you must connect the Ethernet cable directly to the TV. If you do not you will get a notice no connections--to cable- This will not connect the main apps supplied

La televisión tenía un detalle menor con el marco de la pantalla, con el cual se “colaba” luz blanca en la orilla de la imagen. Lo resolví con un poco de cinta negra, pero esperaba mejor calidad.Pero lo que menos me gustó fue que Vizio no tiene soporte oficial en México, por lo que su aplicación. de Smart TV no funciona aquí, ni se tiene el skill de Alexa como en USA.En sí la televisión tiene buena imagen y funciona bien, por eso las 3 estrellas.
Producto con defecto y sin soporte en Mexico, Amazon solamente es intermediario.
Vizio es una buena marca para alguien que no ve mucha television y no espera una buena calidad de video, no hay servicio tecnico en Mexico, yo compre dos televisiones y una dejo de funcionar un par de meses despues de la compra, entre en contacto con Vizio e intentaron resolverlo guiandome por telefono, al final no se pudo solucionar y me dijeron que no pueden mandar ningun tecnico porque es una marca que no es para Mexico, sin embargo Bolo la vende como intermediario. Entonces, si alguien va a comprar una TV Vizio espero que no le suceda mi caso.

El producto llegó e. Tiempo, el precio es razonable, el único problema es que el sistema del televisor no esta disponible para México por lo que siempre aparece el mensaje "smart cast no disponible en tu región" y no podras acceder a las aplicaciones directamente del televisor, por lo que tendras abrir la aplicación en tu celular y trasmitirla a la televisión, por otro lado la imagen se ve bien y recibe los canales locales y de cable.
