I was a beginner to softball this summer playing for my company's team, and this glove was a great option since I didn't want to invest in an expensive leather glove right off the bat (no pun intended ;) ). It molded well to my hand and became more flexible over time, as I would expect a typical leather glove to. I used rubber bands to secure the glove around a softball when I first got it, and this helped a lot. Keep in mind that this isn't leather and may not hold up long term, but I thought it was good quality, and it worked great for my purposes! Sadly, my glove was taken before one of my games, but I will probably get another one for the next season!

Exactly what I wanted, color and style. I didn't need an expensive glove. I needed a second glove to make it easier to talk people into a little catch. This glove is perfectly fine for general yard catch or a recreational game with friends. I've had my other glove almost 25 years and it is in great shape but the inner lining is flaking/desintergrating very badly. I just wanted this and am very pleased. I was able to open and close it fairly easy right away.It is indeed easy to use immediately. No break in time...no oiling. It has a decent feel to it. If I had touched it before buying I really might have thought it is leather. The material is much better than I expected. I assume if a person is against leather this would be CLOSE to a vegan product as possible. I'm pretty sure it is all a type of pleather. I've never had a non leather glove and was interested.I just liked how it looked and it suits my needs and was inexpensive. I could have gotten a "better quality" USED glove but I would rather have new and decent than something sweaty, dry rotted and or stinky. No need for that when this is perfectly good. Even great.This glove has NO odor at all that I can tell. You won't get the leather glove smell of course...but there is no strange odor either.Comfortable, functional, great looking and super affordable. I recommend it to anyone playing recreationally. I chose the softball size glove because I didn't have a dedicated 14" softball glove. I plan to just use this with friends and family or chunking a rubber ball off the side of the garage.Very pleased, worth the money

My son likes to play catch and he outgrew his glove. This glove was the right size and the right price. He got warmed up to this new glivs very quickly and really enjoys playing catch with it. We’re gonna try out for the baseball team at school. We’re both looking forward to seeing how that goes. Anyway, the bottom line is he loves it. We recommend it.

I wanted to say that these gloves are amazing. I purchased a left-handed glove for my daughter for Christmas and she doesn't know it but it's made out of quality material and she's going to love it. I purchased one for myself as well because we are both just starting to catch together. I highly recommend this brand it smells like fresh new leather and I couldn't be happier. Thank you very much

Exceptional Quality
This is the second Franklin glove I purchased. The other one was the regular colour in tan beige. These gloves are well build and have nice soft interior. Highly recommended. At this price point, you get a lot of value and this glove will last years. Just make sure you get the right size. For adults, I got the 12 (okay for older teenagers, guys or girls) and 12.5 inch size (for older adult male) or larger size if you have big hands.
