5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite protein bars
These protein bars have the most protein and fiber (with very modest added sugar) out of all I’ve tried, while not tasting like cardboard. True, they don’t taste like a candy bar either, so don’t let the indulgent names fool you. I like having them around for post-workout recovery or for times when I’m not able to get a proper meal in. My favorite flavors vary by day, but I’d say Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Double Chocolate Chunk, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip and Cookies & Cream usually take the cake. This variety pack allows you to try most of them, or just not get bored.
5.0 out of 5 stars A great high protein, lower calorie bar
We have been ordering these protein bars for daily use for the past year. We love the different flavors in the variety pack. Great for quick breakfast or on the run during the day. We have tried several different high protein-low carb bars, and this is our favorite. Would highly recommend.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good mix, solid bar
A solid protein bar that is balanced flavor/nutrition. Mine arrived on time. The package had been sealed with 3 of those clear sealing stickers after an Bolo customer note was placed inside. Box marked expiration august 29, 2021 which matched the soonest of the bars. Bars varied from August to October on individual expirations. These were edible warm (tried one cold-dont do that) and we're fine for a filler without a crash after. Not a meal replacement but helped tide me over at times.Like others have said, check the ingredients, some contain sucralose and stevia in addition to the erythritol and soluble fiber (from corn). I can tell the erythritol flavor and I don't really like it, so my feelings toward each flavor are skewed by that dislike. Also, eating 2 of these in a day made me gassy and my stomach rumble. Not sure if that's from the soluble fiber or the erythritol, both can have that effect on sensitive people. From best to worst, these first 3 I would order again:Blueberry muffin. I was surprised, but the muffin flavor (more cookie like) with cinnamon, nice textures and real freeze dried blueberries was very good. Little dry and crumbly and almost no erythritol aftertaste.Chocolate chip cookie dough. The cookie is a solid flavor and the chocolate chunks had the best contrast/flavor of any bar. After taste is mild.Chocolate brownie. Good texture for a brownie protein bar. Solid, all brownie and good mild chocolate flavor. Very mild after taste. These were ok but I would not want a whole box:Oatmeal chocolate chip. Same cookie with cinnamon. Mild chocolate chunks don't stand out much. Slight after taste.Chocolate hazelnut. Mild chocolate bar with hazelnuts in it. Mild flavor, nice texture. Noticeable aftertaste.Cookies and cream. Mild flavor, but the bar has nice textures. Noticeable aftertaste.Double chocolate chunk. Again mild chocolate flavor, only difference in the chunks is the texture. Little aftertaste. These I would not get:S'mores. Cinnamon cookie and mild chocolate chunks. Nice textures but the flavor didn't come through. Noticeable aftertaste.White chocolate raspberry. Heavy chemically erythritol flavor and aftertaste. Matches the bitter sweet red fruit. White chocolate is overpowered.Mocha chocolate chip. Chocolate chunks a bit more pronounced with very mild flavored bar. Mocha flavor is not noticeable. Slight aftertaste.Mint chocolate chunk. Mild chocolate with the chemically sweetener and mint being very effervescent. Mint does not overpower like commonly occurs. Aftertaste. And I threw out this one after a couple bites:Chocolate peanut butter. Chocolate flavorless. Only mind peanut flavor, not very good. Heavy artificial sweetener taste with cloying after taste.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect protein bar
I work as a nurse and these are a perfect snack/part of breakfast at work. The variety of flavors make it so that I don’t get tired of them, i’ve been eating them for about 8 months now. However some of the flavors aren’t as good as the others, like the chocolate and the brownie ones. The blueberry, white chocolate raspberry, and s’mores are the best of the batch. Also I like the texture of the bars more if they are refrigerated, they become less sticky. The bars are high in protein, and low in sugar, so I eat them with an apple and they help me push through the 12 hour day.
5.0 out of 5 stars So delicious!!
These are my favorite protein bars. They’re extra yummy if you’re at home, warm them in the microwave for 10seconds and they get even better. Great for on the go too just to make sure you’re getting your protein in.
3.0 out of 5 stars Okay….
These are not bad, but they do have that standard chalky after taste like any of the other protein bars. I bought this variety pack so that I could try them all first without spending a ton of money on a whole box of the same flavor, just in case I hated it.They were incredibly fresh and I liked the chunks of blueberry in the blueberry muffin. I love how much protein these have packed in them and they work for me when I’m desperate to eat and get some extra protein in for the day. Also, it was nice how soft and chewy they were so you chew for quite a while which also makes you feel like it’s more than just a “bar”I will use these just when in dire need for protein.
5.0 out of 5 stars Quest Nutrition Ultimate Variety Pack Protein Bars, High Protein, Low Carb, Gluten Free
Love the Quest bars - great to have the variety pack. Great for a quick meal or a snack. NOTE: one of the bars is with peanut butter - good to know for those with peanut allergies.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice variety
Loved having more than 1 choice of protein bar flavor. I enjoyed all of them!
Not too bad. Reasonable priced when on discount.
seem okie price reasonable. but the packaging can be better as it from overseas some of it got melted or deformed. Not very long expiry date tho...
got sent an expired batch
got sent a box that had expired in Feb 2021 with some bars that had expired in Jan 2021. The box arrived on the 1st of May.
Good macros and quite tasty but pricey
I ordered a variety box, arrived quickly and packed nicely in a box. A good selection of flavours, although mint chocolate chunk and chocolate peanut butter were missing from my pack. They were replaced with a rocky road and an extra chocolate chip cookie dough bars, which I was actually happy about as I dislike chocolate with mint flavour. Good macros with each bar containing 20 or 21 grams of protein, between 6 and 8.5 grams of fat (except rocky road with 9.8g) and between 7 and 11 grams of carbs, of which on average 1g is sugar. Flavourwise, they are pleasant and quite sweet, with no chemical aftertaste. However, most of them taste quite similarly, with chocolate being the overpowering flavour, with the exception of blueberry muffin and white choc & raspberry. The texture is quite dense and chewy, typical of protein bars. They are a bit expensive at £25 for a pack of 12 but overall they are quite nice and work well as a post workout snack. Each bar in the packet appears to have a different best before date, ranging from July 2020 to July 2021, which is odd but long enough for me. All in all, I would recommend the product, the only real downside is their price, which is why it’s a one off treat for me.
2nd time ordering, this time, not all flavours!!
Gutted. Reordered this as the first time I got all flavours even though they were slightly squashed. This time I didn’t get an peanut butter, cookie dough or mint and instead got extra chocolate and hazelnut which are my least favourite! Seems to have been packaged differently so assuming it’s from the same batch of ones with missing flavours like other reviews. :(
Very Disappointed
I will not be ordering from this company again!!! I ordered 2 of these variety packs because it stated that I would receive 1 of each bar and I haven't been able to get the peanut butter or the mint chock anywhere. These are my disabled son's favourite flavours and I was willing to pay a bit extra for the them as a treat for him. Instead I received 10 flavours, none of which are the peanut butter or mint choc flavours. I was so disgusted that I was going to return them, but it's more trouble than they are worth.
