5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy Construction
Purchased this to move someone by transport chair from a bedroom into a sunken living room. It's very well constructed, folds up easily to store in a small area, and is wide enough to safely use. I bought the 4' ramp and it's perfect for my needs. I have laminate floors and the metal was causing some damage to the upper step that comes in contact with the upper end of the ramp. I just put a cloth towel down, then the ramp, and it solved the issue. When not in use I fold it up, put the towel under the bottom, and lean it against the living room wall. Nice solution to be able to bring someone into that area of the house that can't get there on foot.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great easy to use ramp!
This ramp works perfectly. Easy to use and easy to fold up when not needed. A nifty household accessory.
5.0 out of 5 stars Heavy duty yet portable
We use it for the transport wheel chair and rolator walker.
4.0 out of 5 stars Aluminum Foldable Foot in length.
This ramp works perfectly. Easy to use and easy to fold up when not needed. Purchase for a family member who need access to our house. Did not like the way the hinges were mounted and was afraid someone my tripped due to the hinges and removed the hinges. This wheel chair ramp will be fixed and not moved.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great ramp
It's a strong ramp. It is a little difficult to move. (I'm a 72 year old woman who has arthritis in my hands and bad back.) I called my neighbor over to help with it.
5.0 out of 5 stars I am very pleased with this ramp.
I was surprised at how well this supported my weight. I had to go up three steps to get from the garage to the house and recently I’ve had to use a walker because of surgery. This ramp did the trick. My wife was able to push me up the ramp and the grips on the surface, do not allow for any slippage whatsoever. It also is very easy to fold up and tuck away when not needed. And, since I did not like being stuck in the house and not being able to get into the garage, I coupled it with a block and tackle attached to a stud in the closet that allowed me to get in and out of the garage on my own. See the photo.
3.0 out of 5 stars Incorrect width
Solid ramp, folds nicely. However there are discrepancies with the product width. The usable width is only 28.5", the actual width is 28.75", but the width shown in the product listing is 29".
5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy and a real help
My husband and I have back and hip issues. I bought a cart to move groceries, cases of water, etc. from car to house. Then I realized if I had a ramp, I could wheel groceries all the way into the kitchen. This was perfect. Because of our entry set up, I had to add a 2x4 to extend the threshold out a bit. Now the screen door opens out without hitting the ramp. I also put a 2x4 underneath spanning the middle. That added a lot of stability. Don’t even have to screw anything down. The weight keeps everything in place. Since we go south in winter, we’ll fold this up and take it out of the elements before we leave. Perfect for our purposes, but too heavy for us if we wanted to continually tote it around ourselves.
