About Water-resistant Watches Water Resistant Watches are sealed to withstand some pressure.
Water resistance is tested in measurements of atmosphere (ATM).
Each ATM denotes 10 meters of static water pressure.
This is not the depth to which a watch can be worn. Many watch cases will list the basic measurement of 1 ATM as "water-resistant."
These watches will withstand small splashes of water but should not be worn while washing the hands or submerging the hands in water.
Remember, water resistance is tested under static conditions.
Wearing a watch which is 50 metres water resistant to water will expose the watch to a much greater pressure than during a 50-metre static test.
Therefore the number of metres shown on the watch does not indicate the depth that the watch can be taken to.

50M = 5ATM = Shower Proof - it's ok to get it wet a bit.
100M = 10ATM = Extended Water Exposure good for swimming or snorkeling.
200M = 20ATM = Pressure Resistant made for Scuba and Skin Diving.

The watch works very well and easy to operate and adjust. The display is easy to read, with sharp numbers against a fairly bright background. And the night light is also easy to read. The watch has a spohisticated yet hefty tactical look and feel, and is rugged and well made. It's a great deal and worth far more than the low price. It's impressive and I wear it proudly. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Good watch for the price. Nothing special. Only nit is I'm not a fan of the double notch design. I prefer single like most watches. Not a significant issue, just a preference. Otherwise everything else is good. Bright, large display. Good night light. Good display layout.

This is a great watch. It looks very masculine and feels premium. The watch face is large and easy to read and the backlight is very nice in the dark. The band feels nice and premium too.Overall, for the price point, this is a great watch and gives that SUUNTO Core Classic Outdoor Watch for Men vibe without spending almost $200 on it. A great choice.

Update 4/17/23. The light button quit working. It was dim but adequate, but now does not work at all. Also, I have not had it near water at any time (including handwashing), but now it has moisture under the glass that partially obscures the face. I suspect that moisture is probably from China or the trip over here, and will shorten the life of this watch. It still keeps time, but I'm disappointed in the low quality.---I have not worn a watch for maybe 15 years. After all, all the functionality was on my phone, right? But I have been rethinking my phone and the constant distraction it is. I am forced to take it with me everywhere because of the clock on it, but every time I pull it out, it distracts me with messages, news, and other things that grab my attention. There were many times I could have happily done without my phone (working on projects, long walks, deep conversations), but I was tethered by the clock.This watch ended my enslavement to my phone. I have the date and time, timers and alarms, all at a very inexpensive price. The face is a nice larger size, is simple and clear, and the band is long enough to fit my wrist comfortably.
