I’ve used this for awhile now and absolutely love it. It boils quite quickly, so making a cup of tea is so easy, somehow it just seems faster than the traditional kettle you put in the stove. In fact, I find that my family uses this much more than we ever did our regular kettle. Cleaning is simple. The top flips open wide enough to fit under the fridge water dispenser, so it fills easily from my fridge for filtered water or the sink. I was concerned initially from reviews of electric kettles shattering, but this has been problem free to date. I’ve even put milk in it, to make hot cocoa bombs, but that did leave marks on the stainless steel bottom for whatever reason. The marks came out with vinegar, so good as new. The only thing I dislike is that the center piece of the top can pop out if you’re tipping kettle too far over trying to empty, but once you k ow this (from having it pop off) it’s easy to avoid happening. It does not have a temperature control like some models, just a simple switch in the handle to turn on and heat water to boiling. The blue ambient light is a cute touch.

This electric kettle works great. Heats up fast and stays warm so you can use the water as needed. I was nervous about buying this as I read reviews that stated people were having overflowing boiling water when they used it. I've personally filled it up to the max line several times and have never had this issue. This is the perfect size to fully fill my French press and takes up little counter space.

Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend. It arrived overnight. That's quick. It did arrive in only it's own packaging. Seeing as it's glass, I'm surprised it's shipped this way. I would have assumed it would have shipped with an outer shipping box. That also means when purchasing it as a gift, it'll arrive and everyone will know what it is. Super easy to use. The unit looks great. It's blue light is a nice touch. Can be used with the included loose tea infuser or without. Both the charger and pot are extremely light, and makes it feel cheep but honestly it works really well. Heats up, hot and fast. My girlfriend loves it.

I like the glass spout over plastic ones. I was concerned it might drip but it doesn't. Plastic kettle spouts get white deposits on them even with relatively soft water. I like not having a spring operated lid, they get in the way and the spring can break making a nuisance. I'm liking the simple lid that pulls off for filling. I wish there were fill markings on both sides of the kettle not just the left side. I operate the tap with my right hand and I often pour with my left hand while stirring with my right then refill so it is in my left hand a lot when I fill it. It seems slow compared to 1500 watt kettles. It takes 10 minutes to boil the full kettle with its 1300 watts. I've decided that is a good compromise for me. The same amount of water takes 16 minutes in an open sauce pan on a 1300 watt induction plate. My house doesn't have a dedicated circuit for the microwave as required for new construction so I sometimes tripped the circuit breaker with my old 1500 watt kettle. Like my last few kettles, the base lifts sometimes so the cord comes out of its slot and it takes 2 hands to put it right. You'd think the makers would use a rubber grommet with an open side for the cord slot on these things. I may hot glue mine in place. I think the engineers in China must be men with servants since they don't address the annoyances like the cord slot and the markings.

It's working well!
At first, I worried that it might be too big for my little kitchenette in my loft (which is above my main kitchen downstairs), but it actually fits perfectly next to my slim Keurig coffeemaker...actually, it even balances out the overall look. It is a good size, functions very well, and along with fitting the space well, looks nice (e.g. I like the blue light, which is similar to another brand of kettle that I own).
