This is perfect to lower the shower head if it was installed by a giant, like mine was. Don’t forget the COUPLING, which you will need to connect to the existing shower pipe coming out of the wall. Good luck!

This isn't advertised as chrome, so I wasn't expecting a mirror finish, but the product photos make it seem smooth and shiny enough to look nice as a visible stub-out. However, I think a lot of the "photos" are CGI, and the actual pipe is matte and textured (lines from machining), and fairly scuffed up out of the bag. In my photo, those marks don't come off; the pipe is scuffed/scratched. In terms of looks, this isn't that much more polished than an iron pipe. Disappointing.
Works well as a replacement part.
