This is a great humidifier ................ for a VERTICAL humidor. Before I purchased this item, I read a lot of reviews of where a lot of people stated that this humidifier leaked all over their humidor. Folks, I have used humidifiers of all kinds in cigar humidors for a very long time. They DO leak if you allow any of the liquid, either distilled water or polyethylene glycol , to your humidifier and lay it down or upside down or any other way as to allow any liquid to drain out. ESP when the humidifier has just been filled. For your chest type humidor use the jars or anything that cannot tip over. For these cigar tube style humidifiers, where they vent out of the top of the tube, stand it up in your vertical glass or heavy tall plastic, round humidor !! If you lay this type of humidifier down it may very well leak out of the top of the humidifying tube. I thought it was common sense ............ I guess not.

The tubes were longer and a bit wider than I expected. They are well made and come double sealed which ensured that it was fresh and fully moistened, ready for use. When I bought it, I intended to use both to bring up the humidity in the humidor but since they were bigger than expected, I was confident that one would do the trick. The other one came well sealed, so it’s on standby until I need it.

I mean… c’mon. Not worth it. Leaked everywhere. Stored the extras I bought and they leaked as well. Can’t get all the goo out that made its way into my nice cedar humidor. Not recommended.

These are nice humidifiers and they are a perfect fit for my travel humidor. They come ready to use and the clear tube with markings makes it easy to know when to add more water.My only problem is with Bolo shipping and not the product. They shipped this in a padded mailer and one of these was crushed in transit. Fortunately, I only needed one and didn’t bother requesting an exchange. That said, the plastic in the product itself is plenty sturdy for its intended purpose.

I’ve purchased 8 of these. They are short term but refillable. I use them in smaller humidors or just in full cigar boxes with one cigar missing.Just refill every 4-8 weeks & your extra stashes of great cigars stay humidified!
