I've been seeing ads for this everywhere and finally decided to give it a try. I used it last night after blow drying my hair and OMG I am blown away at how easy and quick I was able to do my hair. My hair is usually lightly wavy and sometimes frizzy. After using this, it is straight, shiny, silky and took way less effort and time than using a flat iron, which always leaves my hair frizzy. Now, mind you, I have a rotator cuff injury so probably not my best work and even so, my hair looks like I went to the salon. Absolutely worth it.

What?? This is so cheap and works so much better than any straightener I've owned. Here's the big caveat... you have very little control over the ends of your hair.I've owned Solia, Chi, am currently using the white T3... my hair has never been easier to straighten or as straight on the top of my head. You don't get the wavy crimp lines from a flat straightener because this thing basically combs into your hair and straightens from the root out an inch so there is no way to have a crimp line. I am blown away by how shiny my hair looks. And it was crazy easy. Took no effort. In fact, you almost have to use bigger sections with this tool than with a flat iron straightener.Okay so here's the snag, and you can tell just by watching any video of someone using it. You need to hold pressure on your hair to hold it inside of the tool, so when you get to the ends and have to let go, there is no way to really control the ends. I was able to hold my hair until the last little bit slipped from my fingers and I managed to curl the ends under. The finished look is great. But if I wanted it to be stick straight all the way to the end, not curled under at all, that would be a little harder.Does this replace a flat iron? No. I often straighten just the ends of my hair after curling it, and I could not do that with this tool. However, this thing is waay faster and easier and makes my hair shinier and smoother than a flat iron.The heat up time is slow. At first just the top blue light was blinking and I thought that meant it was warming up. Nope. You need to hit the power button (again?). The blinking blue light apparently just shows you it's plugged in. Once you hit the power button, the white lights will indicate the power/heat level and the top blinking white light will become solid once it's done heating. It took maybe 30 sec - 1 min longer than my usual flat iron heat up time.Safety/fire prevention... so this thing would be harder to burn yourself on for sure. Also, the actual hot plates don't touch your counter or anything other than your hair because the guards block them. The back of the tool is flat. It DOES get HOT, but touchably hot. It might melt plastic carpeting. But I have no concerns with setting the flat backside directly on my counter, which means I no longer have to balance a straighener on its case or a hot pad.I am just in shock... I didn't expect this cheap thing to work so well. I literally just bought a dyson airwrap after years of wanting one and am not nearly as blown away with it.This would be a great gift for anyone into beauty or hair because it's not a common device to own and works amazing and is relatively inexpensive.So glad I tried it.

My 11 yo has thick wavy long hair and this was easy and quick to use on her. Hair came out straight and smooth. Did all her hair in about 2 min!!

This straightened my generally time consuming hair in less than 10 minutes. I was blown away by this. It normally takes about 45 minutes to do this. The only reason it doesn’t have 5 stars is because I struggled to get my ends curled in. It still does a fantastic job and my hair is smooth and shiny.

I’ve been seeing this product along with videos on tik tok. I decided to buy it from Bolo last night. I have thick, curly, 4C hair. I’m half Puerto Rican & half Black. The ironComb gets hot & I didn’t have to worry about burning myself. It comes with a hair glove which I used because my hair is black and holds a lot of heat.I was surprised how straight this got my hair. I did go over my hair lightly with a flat iron at low heat and it’s perfect. Purchase the Tymo heat protectant mist, it’s light, adds shine, doesn’t leave oily residue, and it smells delicious.Comes with a black storage bag, and heat glove. Works better than the heated Dry Bar brush !! I’m going to by one for my daughter.

I have natural hair that is fine. I read the instructions on better understanding on how to use this tool. My hair is like cotton candy. It looks thick but is not as. I had the heat on a lower gage, so not to damage my hair. I used the heat protection spray it came with. I was able to straightened my hair in one or two passes, depending on the thickness of each section. I was not going for bone straight, just straight enough to trim the ends. The size and durability, look and grip are well made. This tool does nor have numbers to tell you how high or low the heat settings are on. Which is why you need to read the instructions. Remember to do a small section first to see how well it straightened and take your time and don't rush.

It straightens and smooths it out well enough for me. It's awkward for me to use. It is not as easy as some reviewed from my experience. I have trouble trying to keep it right side up, the controls are all on the handle where you hold it to use it, so you are touching them all the time which changes the temp and turns it off. It works for making my hair easier to manage at this point in my life. I have long gray hair and it needs more care now. I have to manage dry & frizzy now. It's worth the money and I'm keeping it in spite of the few problems I am having with it. I think with more use I can manage it better.

I have long and thick hair with unmanageable curls. Straightening them has been a task and time consuming and often not very long lasting.First off normal straightening irons took me at least an hour to do my entire head and not completely straightened. To do a very good job usually required someone to do the back of my head.With this my hair was straightened in about 20 minutes and giving it an extra 10 minutes made my hair extra straight and also soft.The bush doesn’t get extra hot so I can get it close to my head. And I have no fear of burning my hand when I can’t quite see what I am doing in the back of my head. The only thing that gets very hot is the hair (probably why they give you that glove with it to catch your hair) since I use a wide comb to both section my hair and catch the hit strands this makes the entire process much faster.Also helps that I don’t need to go over the same strand of hair 5-6 times. This one I don’t even need it to be at the highest temps and the most unruly strand still looks decent after two pass and a third for good measure.Other note worthy thing is that my hair has remained very straight for many days even if I had a pony tail for a few days I can comb it out and it still looks pretty good.And if need be I can plug it the straightener and give my hair a quick “brush” and that settles down even the bump of the pony tail in about 5 minutes.I purchased it from seeing a bunch of adverts all over social media and really wasn’t expecting much. I wasn’t even sure it would be a nice experience as some that I have tried basically was ripping my hair and breaking the hair causing more damage than anything.My hair not only is not being brittled but is left silky and smooth after using. Well worth it for me.

I have curly, not to curly, but curly hair and this tool just works sooooo fine and smooth!! I’m very very happy with the results. I definitely recommend!
