I ordered these for my mother for Mother’s Day because they looked good, and I like the sy they do things.But then they arrived and the idea was way better than the reality.The flavors aren’t there. For instance the orange had no orange taste.And the chocolate itself just wasn’t good. At all. It almost tasted like eating sticks.I hope they figure the taste thing out because making chocolate sourced the way they do it is fantastic. I just can’t endorse it as of now.

I received these yesterday. Packaging is very well done and was obviously carefully conceived. Although these bars were individually packaged and then packed in a separate small box in my Bolo order, there was a wonderful smell of fresh chocolate as soon as I opened the Bolo box. I tried the raspberry beetroot bar. I was transported – – it is almost a fudgy texture, a very deep chocolate taste with a beautiful raspberry taste as well. It was perfectly balanced and really excellent! I eventually had another small square and then shared some with a friend who was similarly delighted. Although it was delicious, I did not find myself craving more as I usually do with less satisfying chocolate, even when it is pure and 70%. I was skeptical about the price for chocolate bars but this is the best upscale and healthy chocolate I have ever had! And I have had a lot! This is one of the few treats in which I am willing to indulge despite many food sensitivities.I had also ordered a package of a competitor’s chocolate bars which are quite pure but have sugar. They are comparable in price but will still take another week to arrive and are not even close in quality. I was very pleased with how quickly these arrived and the note I received from the seller after my order and prior to delivery.Thank you so much for the love that has clearly gone into this product!
3.0 out of 5 stars Arrived melted, rancid and gritty/oily- but seller sent replacements
I LOVE this chocolate. It is normally so delicious, but this package arrived melted, oily and gritty. It was a mess to open and so disappointing for how expensive this is. I even tried it hoping I could get past the damage and it tasted rancid like the oil had spoiled and the texture was totally gritty and different from how a pristine bar is. I was so sad.Update- seller responded and offered to either return or replace. Very helpful and am expected the replacement soon.

My DIL was jonesing for some dark chocolate! I helped her get a fix! They were enjoyed by many and there were enough to share.....she didn't! Thanks for the quality, speed, and variety!

I know it's really good chocolate because I've gotten it in a store before, but all 5 bars of this pack were received completely melted and congealed. :-( Can't find a way to request a replacement or refund - "returns are not accepted," even if damaged?

I thought I’d try this because it’s a lower glycemic chocolate bar with some exotic ingredients. The chocolate is dark and the added spices I don’t think worked that well together. I didn’t like the taste but also as a whole the ingredients were problematic for my body as most chocolate bars are now for me. I was hoping it might be different because of the increased purity of said product, and it’s always nice to support a small company being innovative.I ordered the 4 bar pack but oddly only got one bar at the 4 pk price. So, requested refund which was prompt. I’m glad the bars are tested for purity (heavy metals I think) but they are prohibitively priced for small bars. Doesn’t work for me, but I wish them well. Keep trying and perhaps tweak your recipes some more. They were too bitter.
