Amazing product and I will buy more truly wish more people knew about it. Amazing for getting eye and cross shooting dslrs on the back seat of a car. It’s sturdy and discreet and works on almost any car (as long as it has posts of course). I DP a major network show and have found this a simple and essential part of our car rig. The only thing I wish it had are the ratchet action tighteners with a tab on it instead of needing to use an Allen key but you can also put those on yourself if you’d like. Will be buying two more as soon as I can!

Got it yesterday and the unit looked cheap and turns out it is! Mounted a Go pro and it kept coming loose and dropping the arm. I kept trying to tighten it and it got worn out after 10 min of use. They advertise a DLSR camera on this I dont see that!

Pro: Solid piece of equipment. The magic arm has a unique feature it that one screw locks the entire arm. You don't have to tighten each connecting point. Partially tighten the screw in the middle of the arm until the two ends are held in place. Adjust the arm and camera mount to desired position and then tighten the middle screw some more to hold in place. I set this up on the passenger head rest and mounted a video camera pointing out the rear passenger window. With tinted windows you can't see the camera. Excellent for surveillance work.Con: Bit expensive for what you get. Mounting the bracket on the headrest requires an allen wrench (included). Not something that can quickly be taken on and off. Did not include instructions or anything to identify use for the adapters that were included.

The media could not be loaded. The mount to the headrest seems sturdy. The mount for camcorders and DSLR cameras is not sturdy. It might provide just enough stability for a gopro.

Used it with a cell phone no problems. However it simply is not meaty enough for a camera. (My camera is a Nikon D 5600) Tightened it down as hard as I could and there was no way it would stay stable. I also found mounting to a headrest in a car it was way to shaky. I am keeping it for a cell phone, but think their statement that it is a camera mount is fanciful at best and just plain misleading.
