We use this fan at the top of our stairs to create a nice breeze to the downstairs area and to help cool the upstairs level a bit. We mainly keep it on low because that's more than sufficient for us, but it has three settings. It's very powerful but the noise level is not bothersome.

I bought two of these, and they are very nice fans--a huge step up from the cheapo box fans. The price is very reasonable, too. Even on low speed they move a lot of air--I haven't needed to use high speed yet. It is also easy to adjust the angle, although I needed to tighten the nuts to get them to stay where I wanted them. The legs have rubber feet to protect the floor and reduce vibration.

I'm so happy I purchased this fan. The stand had to be assembled a little but it was easy. I put my air conditioner on just to cool off the room. Once cooled the fan with it's cool air is all I needed. It blows so good at some point I'll have to turn it off for a bit.

The media could not be loaded. The first thing I noticed after opening and laying the parts out is that someone took the time to screw in the feet of the fan without removing the plastic. Who does that?!After correcting the issue I was happy to notice that the fan can be taken apart for cleaning which was incorrectly stated that you couldn’t, but other reviewers. The fan itself is definitely high velocity and loud with three levels of increased noise until it sounds like it’s going to take flight. I needed this to devert smoke from my neighbors from coming into my unit, so I’m happy it’s powerful and not concerned with the noise as it will be outside. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and would order again if I needed a second fan.
