I'm really impressed. Over all size is smaller than I expected but plenty big enough for a full size lunch. My first words were, "Oh is is really cute!" Not that it matters, but I love the way it all fits together. No, it's not leak proof but I don't see that as a problem. I have a good size lunch bag and this will fit great. I also love the utensil kit that it comes with. No longer forgetting to pack a fork.

I initially bought one for my husband to try out. I was slightly skeptical because the shape looked a bit awkward in the video, larger than what I thought I wanted. Since I like to pack big lunches for my husband, I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it out.Just after a few weeks of using it, I had to go and buy my own. I loved it that much.Some of my favorite features are:- It packs compactly in the cupboard. The smaller container fits snugly inside the larger one and the lids all snap together.- The box is usable even if you only use the larger bottom one. The band fits well enough that the top won't go flying off. I've never attempted to use the smaller divided box by itself, but I would think the band would be a little too loose.- It microwaves well if you follow the instructions and don't put the lids in the microwave. I haven't noticed any warps from reheating.- It cleans up well in the dishwasher. I put the top lids on the top rack and the bottoms sometimes go in the lower rack and we haven't noticed any changes between how the lids fit afterwards.- The utensils are pretty handy! This was a suprise to me. They're made of sturdy plastic and don't bend when you're cutting up something for lunch.- It fits a good amount of food, plenty for an entire workday. If I'm using both boxes, I like to pack my breakfast in the smaller top box and my lunch in the bottom box. I'm definitely stuffed afterwards.- The pieces are color coordinated. I like how I know which box has which lid because the logo is colored. Just a cute touch since all the pieces are interchangeable regardless of color.A few noticeable cons:- The lids don't snap shut and you MUST use the belly band to hold it all together. To me, this isn't a dealbreaker. An older box I had from a different manufacturer had snaps on the sides which actually broke apart after just a few months of use. There was no easy way of securing it after that. This box holds snugly with the band so I'm not too concerned. Just don't go tipping it all over the place.- It's not liquid safe. I wouldn't use this for any foods that are liquidy like stews or pastas. The bottom box may be slightly more liquid tight, but I wouldn't risk it.- The bottom box can be scratched if you use the included knife utensil. Again, not a dealbreaker since no plastic is completely impervious. It had small scratches, not huge gouges after using the knife. I'm just a little more careful now.Overall, my husband and I both love it. The price is perfect for the quality and I'm thinking of gifting these to some friends and family members looking to start packing lunches for work.

I bought the Bentgo Salad Box first, so when I ordered this one, I expected a larger size. It is quite small. I know the size is listed, but I feel I was misled by the images showing what appears to be a large slab of chicken in the base compartment; in reality, you could probably fit a drumstick or two. I could never fit my lunch into this box; it isn't even large enough to hold sliced bread. However, it will still be useful for my lunches; I'll just also have to use other containers for the bigger stuff. It's really hard for me to get over the disappointment in this size. If the bottom portion was just another inch deeper, it would make the world of a difference. This seems like it's designed for children instead of adults, even though they make different boxes for children, and this does appear to be the "adult" size. Honestly, even as a child, this would not have been big enough for me.I feel the price was a little high for its size, also; the Bentgo salad box is significantly larger, for the same price. Knock a few bucks off the price, and I'd happily buy another to keep around.Another disappointment is that the pieces can't all go in the dishwasher. The lids need to be hand-washed, but the bottoms are dishwasher safe. I understand the reasoning, as the lids are made from materials that will stretch and no longer work in the dishwasher, so you have to be sure to follow the instructions.The very top lid has a rubber gasket in the seal, giving it a great seal to keep leaks from happening (although I haven't real-world tested it yet). The pieces all fit very nicely together, and the instructions inside show you the different ways you can use the boxes; alone, together, or nestled for storage. I do love that it includes utensils, as that's the one thing I always forget to take to work with me!I know there seems to be a lot of disappointment in my review, and there is, but at the same time, it is still a well-made product, and will be useful. It's just really small and can't be used for a full meal. I still highly recommend this product, and maybe 2 boxes would be perfect for your average adult.

My two school-age daughters use the Bentgo for their school lunches. It's a great product. I switched from a different type of lunch box because I needed something that could hold more. The Bentgo fit the bill perfectly.The bottom compartment is big enough to hold a full sandwich easily, or a half sandwich and some chips. The top container, which is divided, is great for keeping things like fruit and crackers separated, so nothing gets soggy. I don't put anything too liquid-y inside because it is not entirely leak-proof, but it's perfect for the things we pack - cheese, crackers, fruit, sandwiches, cookies, etc. I also love that it has silverware - super convenient.I also find it really easy to clean. I don't personally put it in the dishwasher (though I believe most, if not all, components are dishwasher safe), but it's very easy to get it clean with just a few swipes of a scrub brush.Overall, a great lunch box for our needs!

Great for lunches
I’m a uni student and for days when I have to stay around 12 hrs it’s so handy to have a container that stores separate meals perfectly ( also I don’t like food to mix so it’s perfect for that too) looks as cute as expected and has endured a lot of drops but is still going strongBoth the container and utensils have gone to the dishwasher multiple times no problems :)
Resistente y confiable
Este es mi tercer año con este bento y lo amo. Funciona a la perfección. Un diente del tenedor de plástico incluido se dobló pero porque lo coloqué con el agua caliente del lavavajillas. No absorbe olores. Con el uso constante del calor ciertas piezas no embonan como cuando era nuevo pero no ha provocado accidentes. Definitivamente lo volvería a comprar.

To be fair I returned this product as it came smaller than I expected. It is quite compact, so might be very useful for anyone who lacks of space during travel etc. But it wasn't useful for our intended purpose.
