I purchased this speaker for a performance in a large crowd and I was not disappointed. JBL was true to form providing excellent projection excellent sound quality and great wireless connection. I was very happy with the unit and plan to purchase another. I was able to move about the room freely without having to stay close to the speaker. The Bluetooth connection was excellent. I recommend this speaker highly.

Amazed me that the speaker started to leak oil! after which the BT connection was crackly and shut down after a few minutes. I return this one for a replacement. Hope the replacement will not do this! Great sounding speaker in any case.UPDATE:I contacted JBL and was told they never heard of this. So I must have a manufacture defect. I returned/replaced and the new one is awesome. I set up a stereo pair and connected a 15" Rockville sub to both. What an amazing setup.Bluetooth connects and holds the connection forever. (Other cheaper brands I have tried seem to drop the connection after 15 - 20 minutes.) The four EQ settings work well. I keep mine on music even though they tell you if you have a sub, place it in "speech" eq setting.These things are a beasts. No regrets.JBL: It would be awesome if you could make the speakers re-configure as a stereo pair if that was their previous configuration.

Surprisingly, I use this speaker as a job site stereo. It gets very loud and crisp, lacks mids, but as is the case with DJ/PA 2 way speakers. Any speaker that gets this loud will not be battery operated. I wish there was an EQ app you could adjust the sound with, but.....

Maybe turned these on 10 times only to half power and speaker sound gone already. Just use these to casually play music at the company.UPDATEJBL customer service told me a few weeks ago that its normal for Bluetooth to sound worse.Then yesterday it loses Bluetooth connection after ~10-ish minutes and i have to power cycle speaker to get it back to working again

I love music and won’t spend money on myself . My wife and best friend seen to I had one of these . The sound is amazing . It’s not that expensive but you have DJ quality sound that’s portable and if you need it - will crank .

Highly recommend for indoor or out door use. Read reviews and figured I need 2 based on the size of the hall but 1 speaker exceeded my expectations. Great for outdoor use as it will be heard the next block over at high volume. Karaoke comes through clear if that is your thing
