Don’t listen to the 1 star reviews. I have no idea what they were trying to do but they were clearly using the tape for beyond what it was designed for.Magnetic tape is never as strong as normal magnets and needs a nice flat surface with solid metal to work.I used it to create a magnetic window screen for my car for car camping. It works great and you can clearly see it holds up its own weight and the screen quite easily. Even in strong winds I see this staying on. I’m stoked to have made a solid ventilation solution for my adventures.The adhesive wasn’t good at sticking to the screen but I honestly didn’t expect it to be with how little surface area there is to stick to with tiny plastic mesh. I had to use a hot glue gun in addition to the double sided tape. So I can’t really speak to how nice the provided foam adhesive tape is.

I bought this to use to attach screen to an outdoor window, but the magnet did not attract to the aluminum window frame. I tried to see if it would stick to my aluminum pergola frame but it would not attract to that, either.

I'm not using it for anything heavy, jig saw blades and some measuring tools. I ended up tacking the magnetic strip to my work shelf. The magnet did hold everything was attached to it, even after falling on the floor.

I bought this to replace missing magnets on the backs of small kitchen timers; the magnetism wasn’t strong enough to hold them. I also had to cut it to fit with kitchen shears. I was able to do it but that was difficult.

Reasonably strong magnet, decent adhesion.
First let me say I bought this as a replacement/alternative to the mounting system for a Displate poster (Big metal posters) because replacements for the original mounting system is ridicilously priced.Originally I bought some small magnetic squares and even with a tonne of them used they couldnt hold up this poster but 3 strips along the back length of the poster on the top and bottom seems to hold this up juts fine, honestly feel like I could have only used 2 but I had a decent amount even after using a total of 6 strips.The magnet itself seems way stronger than the small magnetic squares, its also much thicker so gives you some clearence like I needed as the poster has slightly thicker edges that push it away from the wall.I would say this product is a little pricey but suppose it shouldnt need replacing often. The magnetic part seems to just be attached to some double sided sticky foam pading, which you could probably replace whilst salaving the magnetic strip itself if you wanted for cheaper then buying a whole new roll.Overall its a decent product, can hold a pretty decent weight and for heavier items you can just use more strips.
Niet zo sterk als beschreven
Is niet echt sterk magnetisch. Plakt ook niet heel bijzonder.Edoch Gauder deed uit zich zelf het voorstel dan een restitutie te doen. Toch een mooi gebaar en een geweldige service. Dat is dan wel weer sterren waard.

J'ai acheté le duo bande métallique et bande aimantée extra forte. Je n'étais pas sûr que cela supporterait le poids du rideau mais j'ai testé quand même.J'ai bien fait, ça tient très bien.J'ai décollé la bande autocollante car cela n'a pas tenu sur le tissu (en même temps, elle n'est pas prévue pour cet usage), je m'en doutais. J'ai donc recollé la bande magnétique au tissu du rideau avec une colle extra forte, c'est compatible.Au final, c'est parfait pour mon usage !Merci !
