5.0 out of 5 stars So far I love it
I've only used this once so far, but it worked really well. It has good suction and seems to be well made. Lots of different attachments to choose from. I really liked how snug the bleed valve attachment fit. A lot of times, they are too loose and allow air to get past them. This one was nice and snug when I used it on the clutch slave cylinder of my Honda Civic.
5.0 out of 5 stars Worked great!
This brake line bleeder kit includes two hoses. One of them you would use to pull brake fluid right out of the master cylinder. And the other hoes has the connector which connects to the bleeder valve on the brake caliper. This is the hose that I used and this is how I used this kit.1. Filled up they refilling bottle with Dot 4 brake fluid which my car requires. Pulled out the filter on the top of the master cylinder and set it aside. Turned the refill bottle upside down and inserted the end into the top of the master cylinder. Tightened up they clap with the thumb screw. This ensures that brake fluid being evacuated from the cylinders is replaced with brand new brake fluid. This ensures that no air gets into brake lines.2. Always start with the rear tire farthest away from the master cylinder on the opposite corner. My master cylinder is right in front of the steering wheel, so I plug this into the brake caliper on the passenger side rear wheel.3. Connected the vacuum unit to my air compressor quick connect fitting. And connected the caliper hose which also has a quick connect fitting. Then connected the other end of the drain hose to the brake caliper bleeder valve.4. Then I opened up the valve and pressed and all on the vacuum. I watched fluid come out and waited till I got about an inch to an inch and a half of fluid on the bottom of the vacuum container. I then close the valve and removed the hose from the valve and put the tire back on.5. I then did the driver side rear brake caliper the same method and drained about another inch of fluid.6. I then did both front brake calipers. These have less fluid in the lines because they are closer to the engine. I got about another inch to an inch and a half combined from both of the front brake calipers. On the 4th brake caliper I could see cleaner fluid coming into the vacuum container. I closed the valve and both front wheels back on.7. I then turned on the car and pump the brakes to build pressure. I put the car in reverse and backed up a little and braked a couple of times. my brakes work perfectly and have brand new clean brake fluid.8. I poured the dirty brake fluid into the empty dot 4 brake fluid containers and I'll take them to my local hazardous material drop off site.Is brake bleeding kit was very easy to use and I'm very happy that I found it.
4.0 out of 5 stars Worked well, though I wish I had bought a manual version
This thing made pretty short work of bleeding my brake system on my 2012 L322. I didn't fully appreciate it requires shop air to operate, which I wish i had known as my other fluid extractor (oil extractor) uses a manual pump (or optionally a compressor) to generate vacuum. But it worked great and is pretty compact to store in the included box. Happy I now can do the flush & bleed solo.
5.0 out of 5 stars Better Than Promised
Very few products are ever better than what was promised. This is one of those products. The kit came with every component needed to make changing the brake fluid in my Acura a one person job. It came with numerous adaptors for different vehicles although I only needed the standard one that came connected with the tubing. The tank and fill bottle were much thicker and heavier than I anticipated and the hardware connectors were of very good construction. It comes with two tubes, one to empty the brake fluid reservoir, and one to suck the fluid from the lines. The fill bottle inserted nicely into the reservoir (I had to remove the filter from my reservoir which just pulled right out) and when the valve was opened it filled the reservoir and maintained it at about half full during the extraction process at each wheel. The waste tank easily connects to a standard air hose connector and I applied about 80 psig air pressure which easily extracted the used brake fluid. The tank is big enough to hold four times the amount of brake fluid my vehicle needed so it would work for all consumer vehicles and some commercial ones. When I was done I slowly removed the fill tank until my brake reservoir was at the correct level and then closed the tank valve. In the end, I did not spill a single drop of fluid on my garage floor. I am impressed.
5.0 out of 5 stars What a life saver!
Had to replace some brake lines on my truck and bought this and was ready to throw it away but found out it was my bleeder screws. It was getting air past the threads so a little teflon tape on the threads of the bleeder screws and the vacuum bleeder worked amazing! This thing saved me hours of pumping brakes and I dont think I have my brake pedal so firm and solid before. Once you get it working right and have no air leaks in the system, this thing is AMAZING!
5.0 out of 5 stars Flush and bleed your brake system yourself without an assistant
I was tired of having to enlist help from my family when flushing or bleeding my brake lines. The Four Uncles system is designed so you do not need help from anyone. The generously sized reservoir clips onto your brake fluid tank with ease. The vacuum assisted pump that is driven by an air compressor works like a champ. It's not loud and it pulls the fluid from the bleeder screws in a controlled manner. I do not have any complaints with this system. The selection of fitting is impressive and the plastic seems to be high quality. I think that this system will last for many years. My only regret is not buying this brake vacuum system sooner!

Everything working good thank you
