These traps work great! We had some mice get into our birdseed containers, and while standard traps caught some of the bigger ones, there were smaller ones that would clean the bait without springing the traps. We needed something that would catch the little turds, lol, and these traps did the trick. After setting a few in different places, we woke up the next morning to a full round of casualties.The detachable bait cup is nice and makes the trap easier to clean and refill. The traps themselves are super easy to set and empty - no wrangling with a spring lever and being afraid of snapping it on your finger. And as gross as it sounds, the "jaws" do a great job of killing quickly with the added bonus of covering the victim's head so you don't have to see it when you go to empty the trap.I've seen other reviewers saying that sometimes the traps don't kill the mouse, and we've had that happen with other traps (getting a leg caught or catching them sideways), but so far these have a 100% kill rate. I think the bait cup being flush with the pressure plate helps with that: the mouse has to fully step onto it to access the bait and WHAM.tl;dr: these traps are great and worked well to catch smaller (or trickier) mice that were cleaning the bait off our other traps.

Great mouse traps. Killed 15 mice already using 3 of these traps. Easy to set, clean and reset. Use the holes on the sides to put peanut butter not just the feed trap, works better

After fairly in-depth non-technical evaluation, including monitoring these against other brands of traps with cameras, I feel these are the most effective. Very low incidence of bait stealing, compared to others. They beat the old wooden one’s hands down. My only problem, which is really, no big deal, is that I wash used traps and the caution sticker wears out after only one wash. No big deal, I replaced them with yard sale price stickers when needed.

I bought these as an alternative to sticky traps. The sticky traps just were not getting it done, especially as the cold weather has moved in. The design of these are fantastic. I really love the removable food cup. It makes for easy loading and cleaning of the bait from the trap. That one small detail makes a big difference, trust me! The jaw design has already proven to be a winner, as I have had the bar design traps get sprung and have nothing to show for it. I placed a few of these in my garage and have gotten 2 mice within the first 24 hours! I am very pleased. They are the easiest traps ever to set, with no chance of getting your fingers snapped on accident. The well thought out design with the big flat area to arm and release the trap when you catch something takes these over the top. They have a strong spring so nothing is getting out of the jaws when sprung. One of the other really nice features that also made my mind up to purchase these over others was the light pressure required to spring the trap over other brands. The mice I am trying to control are really small and have a uncanny ability of getting in and out of traps and not springing them, which is why I had resorted to glue traps. These traps have already proven that they are perfect for all sizes of rodents, even the smaller harder to trap variety. I would definitely recommend trying these as you will not be disappointed. Even though they are reusable, I am placing another order as to be able to blanket a larger area now that I know these work great! 5 STARS for the seller and these awesome traps!
