5.0 out of 5 stars Did what it’s supposed to do
within three hours caught two mice, simple use and pretty cool for kids my daughter checks every morning to see if there are more lol she even released one the recommended distance from our home
5.0 out of 5 stars Works great fits in places easily
These worked great and helped capture a few mice over a week. Easy to check on the trap and see if one was caught. Drove the mice miles away to a park and released them to freedom in woods. No return visitors and its been a while. Easy to wash and reuse. There was one residual mouse poo that got stuck on the underside of the release ramp that was harder to clean up, but that being the worst thing to happen is great and makes the partner happy for living creatures.
5.0 out of 5 stars So much better than the traditional mouse trap. Buy these!
Before I had discovered this humane trap, I was using the old traditional mouse traps, trying to rid my attic of mice. The mice could literally stand on top of the traditional trap and eat the bait clean off the trigger without setting the trap. (I know this because I set up a nanny cam and watched them do it). That's not possible with these new humane traps. The mouse enters the house and sets the trap door instantly. And it works 100% of the time. No fails. Plus, you have the option of re-homing the very much alive mouse after it's caught. No dead mouse to deal with. I would drop the mice off at a park several miles down the road. I can reuse the trap over and over again without having to add bait. Peanut butter (not included) lasts forever since the mouse can't actually reach it to eat it.Buy this trap. You won't regret it.
4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use, and works
The product is easy to use but the bait trap needs to getting used to remove it. The product works well, better than using deadly traps.
5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome
So easy to set up, safe and roomy for small mice. Perfect humane trap. Just wish it was a little easier to clean. Happy I have them for future “guests” :)
5.0 out of 5 stars These are great and best of all not cruel!
INCREDIBLE traps!! This is my second set of these, first set I bought the gold/yellow color and this time trying blue to use in the garage as it seems to be an entry point. We have had the unwelcome guest twice now and both times these traps caught them the first night set. We placed them under the kitchen cabinet and used a combination of peanut butter, salty ships and pumpkin seeds in the trap part. I saw on some reviews where they ate through the plastic-I think the trick is to keep an eye on them so you can get them released asap. I'm not sure if I just left them several hours how they would work, but they are great at catching them. We made sure there was not any food anywhere in the kitchen so they would be drawn to the traps. My guess is for some that say they don't work food is available somewhere else. I was amazed at how easy they were to trap. I can't stand the thought of a little guy with such a cute face dying a painful slow death in the sticky or other traps that have the bar. These are such a better alternative and happy to find!
3.0 out of 5 stars ONLY GOOD FOR ONE CATCH
I bought these because the reviews were so good. I have not had the same experiences as most other reviewers, however. I live in the rural countryside and get lots of mice. I used to use the humane traps that look like little motels…but those aren’t available anymore ( they cost a bit more but were excellent and long lasting)…so I had to give these a try. They are easy to set up and to release the mouse…but after one catch, they are unable to be set again. I never aggressively clean traps because mice will always go where other mice have been…but will not go near anything that smells of bleach or cleaner. ( Edifying that the problem is not because I messed them up by cleaning them). The little piece that is attached to the weight sensor plate seems to move just a bit back when it goes off , and then the trap can not be set again. I had used the other humane traps for 12 years (when we moved to this property, there were lots of mice…they are probably in the walls…but I do not want to kill them)…with great success. There reached a point where there seemed to be no more mice in the house…and I began to see a few spiders around…which told me that the mice were gone. ( Yes…the mice take care of the spiders and centipedes…so if you have a lot of mice, you will rarely see a spider or centipede…which is kind of a little caveat to having the mice). I now have only one trap that has been used more than once. I also tried the orange traps…one was already broken upon delivery…and the other needs a heavier weight mouse to set it off….small mice just go in, look around and leave. Someone needs to fix these issues.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best Mousetrap!
Found mouse droppings under the sink in my kitchen. I placed one humane trap at 11 pm and by 7 am had caught a live mouse in the trap. Released the mouse to a park at the recommended 2 mile distance. Placed the second trap under sink that evening and caught another, bigger mouse the next morning! Very humane as did not torture the mouse like the glue and wire traps. Easy release and very easy to clean. Love these.
Kürzt Mäuseschwänze
Mäuse zerstören die Auslösevorrichtung. Kappt Schwanzspitzen, und Mäuse reißen sich den schwanz ganz ab.
Caught the mouse in three days
it caught the mouse in three days; the mouse was super healthy, so I released it in the wild.N.B. You need to be patient to catch the mouse, and it will be better to put the trap in front of the mouse's hiding spot
Easy to use and works as advertised
Product was easy to setup and caught two mice within the first 24hrs putting peanut butter in the bait section of the trap. Very happy after thinking I only had one mouse to deal with.
