About this item:
With ‘rhoids, swelling and even tearing, something as simple as sitting will be a real pain in the...butt. The Perineal Comfort Cushion provides a much-needed relief from vag to tush in a discreet go-anywhere pillow. Sit on the donut side to relieve pressure, or flip it over and insert the cold therapy gel pack (included) to reduce perineal pain and swelling. Go on and give yourself a seat [and sigh] of relief.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable!
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Super comfortable. I have a terrible pregnancy thrombosed hemorrhoid and it’s given me so much relief. I had another circle cushion I like but this one is more comfortable. The self blow up feature doesn’t work but I don’t mind blowing it up myself because it’s comfortable and easy to carry. The ice packs don’t really help my bottom but will be nice for my vagina once I give birth.
5.0 out of 5 stars Must-have for postpartum
This was a lifesaver after my delivery. It was easy to carry room to room, and held its inflation. The auto-inflate didn't work well, but it only took a couple breathes to fill it.
1.0 out of 5 stars Not Worth the Money
I purchased this cushion because I had heard great things about it and knew I needed something to help relieve the pain I’ve been experiencing since giving birth 9 days ago. The cushion arrived today and when my husband went to inflate it for me, we found a leak in the seam right by the valve to inflate/deflate the cushion so it loses air anytime you put pressure on it, making it pointless to use. I tried multiple times to return it through Bolo as I’m having my husband purchase one from the pharmacy at the hospital instead, but Bolo doesn’t want to give me return options, just options to troubleshoot the issue or contact the manufacturer. Don’t waste your money on this one!
4.0 out of 5 stars Auto inflate didn't really work.
This pillow did help with my pain after having an episiotomy. Soooo much better than the plastic donut one that you get at the hospital. I never needed to use the ice pack feature though. My only complaint that led me to return the product is the auto inflate feature didn't work well. When flat I basically had to manually blow it up instead.
5.0 out of 5 stars The Seat to Beat all Hemorrhoid Pain
After Birth I felt like I had sat on a jellyfish. OUCH! The discreet nature of this cushion and it's range of features provided plenty of options for postpartum care. I love how easily it can be deflated and folded so I can tuck it into my diaper bag or bring it to work with me. Even better, as a germophobe I love that its cover can be tossed in the washing machine. This pillow is versatile too making it worth the price tag. For example, if you want cool relief you simply flip it over to one side and use the cooling gel pack it comes with. If pressure relief is what your privates desire flip it over to its other side. This is the seat you want to help you be able to take a stand against the pain associated with postpartum recovery.
3.0 out of 5 stars Doesn’t hold air.
The media could not be loaded. Update: the manufacture sent me a new one that works great. The original one must have had some sort of defect. However, the auto inflate really doesn’t work very well so you have to blow it up yourself. Not that big of a deal but still something to consider. As soon as you try to sit on it it completely deflates. That defeats the entire purpose of this product. Very disappointed. Wish I could give zero stars.
5.0 out of 5 stars Buy it!
Like others have said it takes a little of assistance to fully inflate it, but holy cow this changed my life in under 24 hours. First time mom, 5 days postpartum. I needed six stitches and I’ve been having the worst time trying sit at all. This pillow was delivered last night and I swear today I’m feeling like 80% better. Is my downstairs still tender? Absolutely. I just birthed a whole human. But now I can sit anywhere I want with little to no extra pain. Your body will thank you!
2.0 out of 5 stars Awesome initially, but now won't stay inflated
A few days after I gave birth, I started to experience some pretty significant pain from my stitches, and my nurse recommended I look into a donut pillow to ease the pressure on the stitches. I ended up buying two pillows--one cheap medical donut and this pillow. Initially, I much preferred this pillow--from the cover to the ice pack, it seemed to be a thoughtfully designed item that also helped me with easing the tension on the stitches from sitting. However, after using this pillow for just two weeks, it now no longer stays inflated! I have to manually inflate it before every. single. use, which is not only tedious but also HUGELY disappointing for so expensive an item as compared to other pillows. It also obviously is not practical to have to inflate the pillow when you've got an infant in your arms! What's more, I've had zero issues with the cheap donut pillow that I also purchased--it stays inflated, which really seems like the minimum you would expect from these pillows that are intended to minimize discomfort in your nether regions. However, this pillow can't even do that. I would recommend to potential purchasers that you just buy the far cheaper donut pillows available elsewhere, as it will save you money and hassle. Really bummed I spent so much money on this when I could have just bought other pillows for far less.
¡NO LO COMPREN!
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Estoy realmente insatisfecha con la compra. Se trata de un producto para el cuidado de una zona muy delicada y el cojíin no se infla, es practicamente plano. Lo peor es que no tiene política de devolución por defecto en el producto. Es un robo.
Great
Great product
Unable to self inflate and keep deflating during use.
This product only last less than 2 weeks. After that I have to manual re-inflate the cushion time to time of each use. 100% the valve is tighten and still leak. Not worth for the money in my opinion.Midwife showed us rolled 2 bath towel method is more effective to relieve the pressure in the wound.Only best friend to my wife is the ice pad.*My wife weight <62kg
It is not so good, if I could give negative stars I would
This is suppose to self inflate, mine did not.. it Loses air so fast, in 15 minutes I have had to blow it up twice, which is literally a pain, as the whole point of this seat is to Alleviate discomfort from my issues… when it is inflated, it is so comfortable..
Doesn’t stay inflated
I was thrilled when this product arrived as it brought so much relief and allowed me to sit postpartum. However, it no longer stays inflated. It leaks quickly once I sit on it. I tried having it replaced through Bolo, but wasn’t given that option. It’s much too expensive for it to stop staying inflated after only 1 week.
