08/23/2024The But........ in the title is about thebatteries. This clock eats them. I'd say I put new batteries in every 2 months. So that is 4 AA batteries and 2 AAA batteries every months.Newest Update 01/06/2024I put all new batteries in the clock and in the remote. In total darkness it is not that great of seeing the time (in my opinion). You have to look straight at it also, to see the time. I don't know what they sell the clock without the remote, as I always have to use it to see the clock in the Bold Black numbers and letters.Newer Update coming : 10/30 2023 and it is all good that is coming tomorrow !Newest update 10/26//2023 10:50p.m, Eastern Daylight Time- backlight question answered.. It was on the BACK , why anyone would want to turn it off, I don't know, because you can't see the clock without the backlightI took this picture with all of the lights off ,totally pitch black, and this is how bad this product doesn't compare to a electric cord clock. , my OTHER "ELECTRIC" CORD CLOCK does a great job of being bright.I have a picture of this clock sitting by my electrical cord clock and you can see a "Big Big " difference when there is a black background w/white numbers and then this one that has only grayish looking background with black numbersUpdate/10/24/23-answer was given by seller about where backlight is.Problem- I want to return this clock but Bolo does NOT have a Refund Return label on my Account Order page that lists this clock I ordered. Apparently the seller said my return money is on the way back to my credit card but I need a Return label or a QR Code to return the clock.Seller or Bolo needs to contact me about this problem. Nicely backlit with hi/low settings, easy to read from quite a distance too. A bit expensive and a bit tricky to program but a nice no nonsense clock.

This went through two sets of fresh batteries and lasted less than a week with each new set.All 6 batteries were replaced, including the 2 AAA backup batteries.Ordered the no backlight version hoping this would improve battery life but there is something seriously wrong with this clock that it doesn’t last on 4 AA batteries for more than 5 or 6 days.Returned. Looking for something else.

There are too many clocks out there that are way too complicated. Or some that have additional features that I just don’t need, like a remote. This clock does exactly what I needed to do. I start the timer, and then I don’t have to do a single thing else. It will automatically keep the amount of time that I selected saved for the next usage, and automatically revert to the Clock display on its own once the timer runs out. Not to mention, it looks great and is very easy to read. This clock is perfect for what I was looking for. if that’s all you need to, then you’ve come to the right place. Get this.

This clock is easy to read. I bought for my High School math classroom, since I don't allow students to have cell phones visible/out/used during class, but they naturally want to know how much longer class is (as do I), and the school supplied analog clock is small and can't be seen by all the students. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for visibility is that depending on where you are, there can be glare from the overhead classroom lights that can make it difficult to see. But for a large classroom, I don't think that keeps anyone from being able to see the time from their desks. I rated the timer function as a 4, but when you mount this as a wall clock, that function is not usable. Similar units with a remote control for a usable timer function are double the cost, and for the particular one I tried to purchase before I got this one, was defective out of the box. This unit looks to be well constructed and has easy to follow directions.

A very large, good-looking, good quality, reliable clock
This clock is excellent and great quality. First one (white, L) purchased Dec 2022. Second one (white, L) purchased Aug 2024 when I accidentally broke the first one -- my fault, not the build quality which is outstanding. When I dropped it, it fell face down onto concrete, so it's not surprising the LCD face broke beyond repair -- but the surrounding casing is so sturdy it didn't even dent. I can't say that I can't live without this clock, but I did order a new one straightaway without hesitation, which says something.The display of the white clock is basic black text on a grey background and is very clear from a distance. I have the L size which is huge and easy to read from way more than 15 metres away -- I wouldn't be surprised if the XL is visible from the Moon. The casing of the L size measures 36cm wide x 14.9cm high x 2cm thick. The display of the L size measures 32.2 cm wide x 12.2cm high. The casing is very, very solid and durable and the white is a really nice stylish matt (no cheap and nasty thin and shiny stuff). I can't comment on the quality or look of the black casing. You can hang the clock on the wall using the screw holes, or put it on furniture using the fold-out stand.The clock has always been accurate and reliable for me and never lost or gained time that I noticed. It comes with 4x AA and 2x AAA batteries, which were still going in my first clock 20 months after purchase, so I'm using those in the new clock and keeping the new ones for if/when the original ones ever run out.You can toggle the display format (12 or 24 hr). On the RHS it always shows the day of the week (in the format, e.g. "SAT"), above which it shows the time zone (at the time of writing mine is "BST") in slightly smaller text size. Below the day of the week it alternates every 5 secs or so between showing the date (in the format, e.g. "17/ 8") and the indoor temperature (C or F, you choose). The buttons on the back for changing the settings are also huge, therefore easy to use. I have never used the alarm or timer, so can't comment.Do not hesitate to buy one of these clocks if you are looking for a large, good-looking, good quality, reliable clock. Ten stars from me.In 2023, I wanted to buy one of these clocks for the wall in our open-plan office at work so we could all conveniently keep track of time -- but my boss was too tight to spend the money, telling me to look at the computer screen if I wanted to know the time at any time. I don't work there anymore.

Ce l'ho oramai da mesi....PROLeggerissimo, di dimensioni discrete, non gigantesche. Lettere ben visibili da ogni angolazione. Buona durata delle batterie (in 7 mesi non le ho ancora sostituite), facile da appendere, altrimenti può essere appoggiata e funzionare da sveglia... un po' oversize!. Display anche in lingua italiana.Ti dice tutto quello che serve: ora, data, giorno della settimana, temperatura ambiente.Precisione eccellente!CONTROmolto leggeraIo l'ho appesa in cucina e leggo bene l'ora da diversi metri di distanza. Rapporto prezzo/qualità molto buono. La consiglio
Utilisation pour piscine
Après avoir rendu hermétique l'ensemble de l'horloge et déporté la sonde thermique de 3 mètres( sonde fixée et isolée sur un tuyau de la pompe de piscine). J'ai installé l'horloge à l'extérieur sous le rebord de toit de mon pool house évitant ainsi le soleil et la pluie. Grâce à cela je profite de toutes les informations: Heure, date, température de l'eau de ma piscine; cerise sur le gâteau l'horloge est visible et lisible à + de 10 mètres.

Números grandes, no necesita cables, funciona a pilas, los dígitos son muy nítidos y se ve muy bien desde cualquier posición. No hace ningún ruido. Hora, día de la semana, fecha y temperatura de la estancia. Muy contenta con la compra.
