Hi, I'm Susie and I created these all-natural, high Omega-3 Breakfast Cookies after writing a history of the Omega-3 fatty acid research: The Queen of Fats -- Why Omega-3s were removed from the Western diet and what we can do to replace them (University of California Press, 2006). I wanted to make something that would be a vegetarian, sustainable, and effective way for my family to boost their Omega-3s -- those heart-healthy, fast-acting fats that are vital for every tissue and cell in our body. And I wanted it to be all natural (of course!) and super satisfying and delicious -- something that would keep my daughters (and now grandsons!) going for hours. I didn't know it then, but what I wound up creating is the ultimate convenience food. Susie's Smart Breakfast Cookies are a great breakfast to go -- or anytime snack. (They are also wonderful for lunch along with a cup of soup or yogurt.) Each individually-wrapped cookie has 8 grams of protein and 20 grams of whole grains, as well as the 2 grams of Omega-3s. They are loaded with oatmeal and dried apples and other fruits -- so they will really keep you going for whatever your day brings! The media could not be loaded. Individually wrapped items x 12 Breakfast Biscuits ensures freshness upon opening. Of course, to ensure THAT quality, the ingredients and prep methods used to create each treat was nothing but carefully selected and performed. Four flavors, three of each flavor : Cocoa; Banana Coconut; Orange Cranberry Nut; and, the one just sampled, Gingered Apple — which was Dee-Lish-Shus! Not too crumbly, very moist, ideally portioned for a single serving and FULL of flavor of Apples, Butter, and Ginger; in addition, there’s also a satisfying sense of Cinnamon, Cloves and Brown Sugar. A nice bonus — the list of food allergens is kept to a minimum and includes wheat, eggs, and milk. Though prepped in a facility shared that has other allergens present, the product seems to be carefully prepped to avoid contamination — this latter assertion offered for consideration because Reviewer experienced NO negative physical reaction after ingestion of Breakfast Biscuit … NOTE: Soy, in any form or amount, causes extreme digestive distress for Reviewer. 12 nicely-sized biscuits that are fresh, healthful and packaged for On-The-Go Lifestyles, make this a solidly POSITIVE purchase. We switched recently from Erin Baker Breakfast Cookies as our Sunday morning light meal due to mystery issues that both drasticly limited the selection and raised the price at the same time. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Suzie's Smart cookies are healthier, not quite as sweet, and all the varieties tried thus far are very, very tasty. My personal favorites are the Spiced Apple and the Orange/Cranberry, with Cocoa very close behind. My husband hasn't finished trying all the flavors from the mixed variety box, and there are a few I havn't yet tried, but we're really pleased. The only problem is trying to save these for Sundays, in fact. For those who prefer a bigger breakfast, like my husband does on non-Sundays, there's a compromise we've worked out. We found a couple of brands of breakfast sausages (the disc-shaped kind, not the links) that don't have preservatives or a ton of sodium, and are basically "heat and eat". He gets one of turkey and one of pork, plus a double serving of whatever coffee variety/flavor combo pairs well with the cookie flavor selected for the morning, and he's happy. We also found a great way to heat and eat these cookies without worrying about the wrapper vs the microwave, or losing cookie bits when they're warmed. Addictive. They are large enough to be a descent breakfast (maybe 2). They are a little high in carbs. No artificial flavor. Not too sweet but not cardboardy either. Love the gingered apple but the cranberry orange isn’t too shabby.

These are delicious. Banana coconut is my fave. There are two things that would have made these cookies better. It would be the price and less added sugar. Other than that it tastes fresh, has good quality ingredients, satisfies your hunger, and gives you energy. These are a great option for those on the go.

I enjoy vanilla yogurt for breakfast. I take half of a Susie's cookie and crumble it up in my yogurt. It's very satisfying and I feel it's a healthy way to start the day.

I didn't like the taste of any of the cookies. I have a half box left and will not eat anymore. They were not soft as I expected and didn't seem fresh. I wasted a lot of $$$ on a disappointing item.

So the cinnamon one taste better than the chocolate or coco one.. i dont favor either but the cinnamon one is better. You have to try it but it comes as boxes. Maybe kids may like it.

I purchased the variety pack. I did like some of the selections better than others, but I am sure that is a personal issue. Overall I liked this product very much!Taste and texture were appetizing. I will purchase this again but not the variety pack because I did have two that I liked best.
