This product is very useful! It helps deodorize your shoes, your home, everything. It also takes away cigarettes smell.

I bought the 12-pack with 6-150s and 6-...50s? I got them because no matter how hard i tried to keep the litter box scooped, the ammonia smell still lingered. I put two 150s in the bathroom ...where I keep the box... 2 in my living room ...1 in the kitchen ...and 1 in my bedroom. I've got a small one in each trash can and rotate them in footwear as i rotate them on my feet. (slippers->shoes) My mother, who has a very sensitive nose(and brought the cat scent to my attention ...i guess i was used to it?), even appreciated them so much that she bought some for herself. She helps take care of horses and tracks their smells around with her in the car, i guess. These are DEFINITELY worth the cost, IMO. Particularly when they don't appear to just cover up the smells by putting more chemicals and/or 'better' scents into the air, but actually pull them out of the air and eliminate them(but not their sources, of course. heh).I'd read 1 or 2 reviews about a chemical smell with these things. I did not experience that at all. There was NO scent to them, as far as i could tell. All they did in my place was remove those smells that were already there. In fact ...i live in an apartment complex and this year there were a couple of people that decided it wouldn't be a problem for anyone if they smoked fish out in front of our building. I tended to leave the windows open as i went to work for the day and when i got home, my apartment reeked. Granted, smoked salmon isn't the worst smell in the world, IMO, but it can linger and set into upholstery/clothing/carpet and not everybody likes it. Anyhow, i closed the windows and a couple hours later BAM! No smoked fish smell.I started closing my windows before i left for work and it is no longer stuffy ...when not allowing fresh air to circulate... when i get home either, so i really think i am going to appreciate these this winter, as well. The next test is how long they last. So far, so good. I haven't moved them in weeks and they still seem to be working just as well as they were at the first. If they lose their effectiveness in another month(as has been noted in reviews), i plan to set them on the window sill for a dose of UV radiation to 'recharge'(also noted). I'll try to remember to update this review with the results at the time.All told, so far, this appears to be one of the best purchases i've ever made.

The bags have a mild scent about them but it's pleasant and not overpowering. They're not effective in mitigating cat litter smells. I put 3 of the large sized bags in my bathroom by the cat pan and I honestly can't even tell they are doing anything. I figured since they are supposed to absorb smells that they would start smelling lime cat litter fairly quickly but this is not the case. They smell the same as when I pulled them out of the shipping bag. Which makes me feel like they are not absorbing anything.I also placed the rest of them in strategic locations around my apartment and again I am not seeing or should I say smelling any benefit from having them. I also let them "charge" or "activate" in direct sunlight outside before initial use as the instructions state.These might be good for very enclosed places like your shoes, gym bags, small lockers, or possibly even small closed closets with little airflow but not effective in larger areas like my bathroom which is fairly small already.Keep that in consideration when looking to purchase as these did not meet my needs or expectations and I would not recommend or buy again. At least not this brand.

It’s embarrassing to say but we have had a terrible sewage smell for years that we could never get rid of, despite multiple plumber visits. We bought these bags on a suggestion from a friend and from one day to the next the smell was gone! I can’t believe what a blessing this has been for us!

This was a foreign concept to me and I regret putting it off for so long. These activated charcoal bags performed exactly as they claimed. We do not like scented products, and sometimes the house and car smell kind of stale. We do not have pets, nor do we smoke. But lingering smells from cooking, trash, shoes, dirty laundry, aging upholstery & carpets need addressed. I found recommendations for how much to use for different size spaces and followed them. It’s been a few months and I just realized I smell *nothing* when I come back home. Kudos for versatility in use, and ease of “installation.” I hung them on lamps, doorknobs, hooks; as well as in an open air basket …and really don’t notice them because of the neutral appearance of the gray bag. I haven’t had to refresh them yet, but I am pleased to find this more natural way to add freshness

Removes Moisture and Odor from my Shoes! I was using a plug in UVC light contraption (it worked) to remove sweat and odor from my shoes after wearing them all day long. They Work!These are so easily ro use. Just put two in a shoe and kept them sit. Odor and moisture is gone in a short time. If they stop working or you want them to remain fresh, Recharge these Activated Charcoal bags by putting them in the sun for an hour or two.I bought them in multiple sizes and found that a few of the larger bags can dry up my bathroom after a hot shower!

They work! HIGHLY recommended.
Bought them to try and remove the odour from two used MCM bedroom dressers that I purchased. The drawers had a repulsive wet wood smell after they were cleaned before they came inside that would not go away. That smell was NOT dissipating after almost 2 months! Activated the bags in the direct sunlight for two hours as suggested and then placed a bag in each drawer of the dressers. Within 2 days the smell was completely gone! They worked. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I will definitely use them again for any futue odour issues that need tackling.
Magnificent!
I'm so relieved!!! I had a mould issue in my car, and unfortunately had a stay in hospital before ineas able to sort it. It was bad enough when I came back to it that I treated the interior of my car to a heavy spraying of cleaning vinegar - this effectively killed the mould but left a very strong vinegar scent in my car for MONTHS. It was potent! Popped a few of these bags in the car in various places and I am honestly gobsmacked - within a few days the smell was entirely bearable, and after two weeks it is barely perceptible! I will be using these again I'm the future in all instances of bad stinks, marvelous!
Les odeurs d'humidité ont disparu
Mon avis :En Septembre 2023, nous avons eu un petit dégât des eaux, l'eau s'est écoulée d'une salle de bain à l'étage et a traversé le placo pour s'écouler dans le salon par les spots du plafond. Fuite qui a duré 3 heures dans la nuit. Nous avons fait tout séché, mis des déshumidificateurs...en attendant de repeindre l'été prochain car cet été, nous n'avons pas pu le faire, malheureusement. Mais, avec les chaleurs plus le changement de temps actuel, des odeurs sont soudainement apparues...Les cloisons sont maintenant pourtant sèches mais le peintre pense que des moisissures se sont peut-être installées et se réactivent avec l'humidité de l'automne (j'habite dans les Alpes en moyenne montagne). Ce qui est étrange c'est que rien de tout cela n'était apparu en 1 an. J'ai acheté ces sacs et ...Génial... Toutes les odeurs d'humidité ont disparu. Donc, c'est efficace et en plus, ça purifie l'air, ce qui était ma priorité ayant des enfants à la maison. Je vais en recommander pour en avoir d'avance car j'en ai mis dans toutes les pièces. On m'avait déjà parlé des bienfaits du charbon et de son pouvoir absorbant...Je confirme que ça agit bien. Une solution future aussi quand le peintre sera là pour rénover notre plafond et notre mur et pour enlever toutes les odeurs de peinture à venir qui sont, quand même aussi très désagréables et, en plus, nocives.
Probably ok in not very humid homes
I used these in winter in Portugal and they didn't seem to make much difference. Also, you really need to remember to hang them out in the sun after the time period mentioned on the page or they will smell. The smell disappears completely after a few hours in the sun.
