This review evaluates “Men + Care Body and Face Wash (4-Pack)” made by DOVE.The product was shipped with no excessive or wasteful packaging. There is not much to this item out of the box: Four (4) 532 ml flip-top bottles of body wash.First impressions: First I will admit that I am not much of a body wash kind of guy… I usually use shampoo and soap. However, I decided to give this product a try to see what it is all about.A soap or body wash rating to me depends on the following: cleaning, ability to lather, the longevity of the bar or bottle, and scent. Only the criteria of scent is subjective, so I will deal with that evaluation first. This body wash had a very nice, toned-down scent that smelled “natural” and “crisp”; suitable for either men or women. The body wash developed a full lather easily and cleaned well. It rinsed off without any oiliness or chalky residue. I felt refreshed and my skin wasn’t dry. The scent is subtle and fresh afterward.Cost-effectiveness and value: Overall I am very satisfied with the product. At a current price of $26.97 ($1.27 per 100ml), I feel it is priced slightly higher than other body washes on the market however the quality is excellent.In summary: “Men + Care Body and Face Wash (4-Pack)” made by DOVE is a good body wash with a natural fresh unisex scent. Amazing body wash + cruelty free!
The Dove body wash had a nice scent and hydrates the skin nicely. I found it smelling good, while not too much.For it's important that all my body care products are cruelty free. Luckily Dove is. It would be even better if Dove moves fully to vegan products in the future.The bottles are with 532 ml bigger than the normal 400 ml Dove bottles you find in store. This means, the price per 100 ml is currently at $1.33. Comparing prices, this is not cheap, but not terribly expensive.At the Dollar store you could buy 400 ml Dove body wash for $4 which makes the 100 ml price equal to $1. For this pack of 4 to be attractive I would suggest a lower price of somewhat $1.10/100 ml. That's why I deduct 1 star as there are cheaper alternatives ( even by Dove itself).
