5.0 out of 5 stars Gotham Steel Hammered Copper Collection - A Sleek and Stylish Addition to Your Kitchen!
I recently purchased the Gotham Steel Hammered Copper Collection for my kitchen, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in both functionality and style. This cookware set truly deserves all the positive buzz it's been getting!First off, let's talk about the aesthetics. The hammered copper finish gives the pots and pans a stunning, rustic look that instantly adds a touch of elegance to my kitchen. It's a real showstopper! The gleaming copper exterior combined with the sleek black handles makes this collection a visual delight. But looks aren't everything, and I'm happy to report that the performance matches the beauty. The non-stick surface of the cookware is exceptional. Whether I'm frying eggs or simmering sauces, nothing sticks to these pans. I no longer have to worry about scrubbing and scraping after each use. Plus, the even heat distribution ensures that my food cooks evenly, giving me consistent and delicious results every time.Another fantastic feature of the Gotham Steel Hammered Copper Collection is its durability. Despite regular use, the pots and pans have held up exceptionally well. The sturdy construction and high-quality materials give me confidence that this cookware will last for years to come. It's definitely a worthwhile investment. In terms of functionality, this collection has all the essentials. It includes a variety of sizes, from small saucepans to a large stockpot, catering to all my cooking needs. The lids fit snugly, preventing any steam from escaping and helping to retain moisture and flavors in my dishes. The ergonomic handles stay cool to the touch, making it easy and safe to handle the cookware even when it's hot.Lastly, cleaning is a breeze with the Gotham Steel Hammered Copper Collection. I appreciate that it's dishwasher safe, but honestly, it's so easy to wipe clean that I often prefer handwashing. A quick rinse and a gentle wipe with a sponge, and the cookware looks as good as new.To sum it up, the Gotham Steel Hammered Copper Collection is a true winner in my kitchen. Its stunning appearance, outstanding non-stick performance, and long-lasting durability make it a must-have for any cooking enthusiast. If you're looking to elevate your culinary experience while adding a touch of elegance to your kitchen, I highly recommend this cookware set. You won't be disappointed!
5.0 out of 5 stars 5.5" & 10" reviewed! Works as intended, efficient and non-stick.
Bolo won't allow separate reviews for multiple sizes, so both the 5.5" egg pan and the 10" skillet with lid are reviewed here. --The 5.5" egg pan is big enough to cook two eggs or a large patty or three links. Thermal performance: The pan heats up to full cooking temperature quickly and does a good job maintaining that on the medium heat setting. Non-stick: I always use a little oil/butter to get food started, but the non-stick coating and reasonable turning times work well to keep food from sticking. Cleaning: Cleaning is easy, although the top rim and underside need a little special care to keep clean and preserve the pan's quality without causing abrasion during cleaning. The low sides make it easy to pour food out. The handle provides plenty of control and heat insulation. The pan is smooth, well-finished.--10" Skillet with Lid: This pan is big enough to cook about four servings of meat and vegetables. Thermal performance: The pan seems to take longer than I expected to heat up to full cooking temperature, but the lid helps shorted that time, and once reaches the desired temperature, it does a good job maintaining that. This might be due to the decently-thick bottom clad. The sides certainly do eventually get hot and help cook larger volumes, even on the medium heat setting. Design: I wish there were more curvature of the sidewalls to the bottom, since it would help pour food out easier than this angled version does, but on the other hand this design reduces as much slosh and splash when stirring or moving food around. The handle provides plenty of control. The lid fits well. The handle can get hot enough to require the use of a pad, etc. to hold when lifting. Finish: The pan is almost entirely well-finished and polished, with a few exceptions. The hollow handle exhibits sheet metal edges which have not been ground and polished finely, thus leaving the feel of a sharp edge. There is a slight risk of laceration during handling, especially in cleaning and storing, although it would take a quick or forceful action of the hand or fingers to cause injury. Otherwise, there are very slightly rough areas left around the upper rims of the rivets on the pan and lid. This is a common occurrence in similar products.
4.0 out of 5 stars I'm giving this only 4 stars, but let me explain
This cookware is great, super easy to clean and lasts a long time as long as you don't use metal utensils with it, it scraps the coating off if you do that. Anyways, I usually always use butter spray despite the ad claiming you don't need to, because you do. It will stick without but still be super easy to clean. Don't use a scrub with a bristle side, it'll scrap the coating off as well. A regular soft sponge works best. Last thing that irks me about these products (and really the only issue I have), the sticker on the bottom has some really tough glue to get off. Why on earth would you glue the sticker on? Why do you even need a sticker? Please stop doing this. I needed to use nail salon quality polish remover to fully remove the glue before use. Overall, despite the nonsense with the glue, I still buy these products because I really appreciate how well food cooks in them and they clean up easy and still look great for years!
5.0 out of 5 stars Slippery
Came with another pan set I bought for my wife. She loves this one. Only way she will cook eggs now. They always slide right off making it easy to turn them and clean
1.0 out of 5 stars Not truly non-stick
This little pan was great the first time I used it. The second time a little less great. Each use (total of 5) results in consistently less non-stick. The pic is from today’s use (#5). The pan was gently washed between uses. I even tried using a little avocado oil for #5. each time I use the pan, it is heated to slightly less than Medium heat, cooking time is 8 minutes total - silicone spatula used - sharing so it is obvious the pan has not been abused. The sides are now terrible - difficult to clean. This pan was a waste of money.
Small Copper Pan
Perfect for single people and brilliant for a fried egg and it slides off the pan onto the plate.
Best eggs ever
Used nearly daily for eggs or pikelets this pan is perfect !!
Cannot be used on induction cooker.
Did not work on 2 different brands of induction cook tops. Disappointed!
Food doesn’t stick and very easy to clean
I liked the look of the pan and food doesn’t seem to stick when cooking and very easy to clean
