I bought this scooter a year ago and for some unknown reason, the battery died abruptly. Thinking most electric scooter batteries last more than just a year, I reached out to the manufacturer. I was not only happy by their prompt response but more importantly their willingness to provide solutions to the issue with whatever it takes had impressed me beyond compare. I was able to send my scooter to their repair shop and within a week they shipped it back with fully functional! I’d recommend it for their great customer service and timeliness. Besides, their product is great. My scooter still runs great and serves a purpose for what scooter is made for!!! 😁
5.0 out of 5 stars My precious possession
It is now 4 weeks since I received my scooter. When I first assembled it the light and speed buttons didn't consistently work and I was upset. I wasn't ready for a return because I found dissembling and repacking it difficult. I used it at low speed in daylight for a day or two. Fortunately, there seems to be an initial running period for this too. After some use the buttons began to work and any doubts I had about my choice and purchase were dissipated. I like its solid tyres. I fold it and carry it along on a bus if I have to. I am satisfied with the battery life and charging time. Let us hope it stays like this.
1.0 out of 5 stars Fun and easy- sad update- it dies!
The media could not be loaded. Update- a week later and it’s apparently dead! I used it daily for 5 days, didn’t use it for 2 days and now it’s dead. Won’t start up. I followed all instructions to the letter. Guess I’ll be contacting the company and will let you know what happens.I’m in my 50’s and play pokemon but don’t always have a lot of time. This was easy to put together and has been easy for me to fold the handle down and carry around. Just be sure the weight isn’t to much for you and it should be fine. I’ve used it a few times now. I charge it for 3-4 hrs after running the battery down.First time I used it I found my balance fairly easily and kept my knees relaxed for bumps. I have a super long driveway in poor shape so very bumpy. I can ride all the way up and back easily. I have motorcycle experience so maybe that helped me with balance and curves/turns? It’s cold out which always affects batteries plus I did drive it at dusk once so the light drained the battery faster too. I was able to go a bit over 5 miles without recharging. I’m also not a lightweight- over 150lbs which I understand takes more battery too. I coast to slow and then gently break or just put my foot down because I’d read reviews about the break. This is not a young children's toy.It works how I expected. I have a helmet and will be getting goggles, horn and gloves. My eyes tear up from the wind, my ears get cold so I’m going to use ear muffs and a horn will be useful. Gloves will keep my hands warm and protected- I’ll get some I can use all year without getting to hot.So far I’m having fun with it!
4.0 out of 5 stars Great Scooter for Short Trips!
This scooter is perfect for quick trips around town, especially if you're used to using rentals—this will save you money in the long run. It's easy to handle and has a decent range, but the clip on the front that locks the handlebars can be a bit noisy on rough terrain. Overall, a solid purchase for the price!
5.0 out of 5 stars It's worth every penny!
The media could not be loaded. We bought this for our sons birthday, he's 10 and he's bigger like an adult, the other scooters he exceeded the weight limit for kids scooters, so we stuck with "adult" sized scooter. It's perfect for him! Even the whole family loves it. It keeps a decent charge throughout the entire day, even riding on highest speed. We are liking it so far! He has fell on it 3 times and it holds up well still. Made well. Plus we like the grip tape, does help. We plan on buying another one soon!! The only downfall is the brakes don't work when battery level is too low, expected bc the battery needs charged. It is an excellent electric toy. Would recommend!
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent e-scooter!
I like that it looks great and goes very fast! The hardwood foot board is a nice touch. The brakes work really good. No flat tires are awesome! 5 stars
3.0 out of 5 stars Brakes are VERY sensitive
Inexpensive and fairly reliable, but the brakes are a bit too sensitive. Rather than decelerating gradually and coming to a safe, smooth stop, they rip you out of space and time, sending you hurdling over the handlebars, through the infinite mysteries of the cosmos, and into the pavement. Doubly so when traveling downhill. I am now intimately familiar with ever guardrail between my home and my place of employment. The handlebars can be removed, which is very convenient if you're transporting it on the train or need to store it in a small space, but not so convenient when your handlebars stars gradually unscrewing themselves mid-ride.The motor is fairly quiet, which allows one to hear the birds chirping in the trees as they go whizzing by, and also to hear the bones in their knees and ankles creak, groan, and pop as they pass over even the tiniest of twigs or cracks in the sidewalk on the solid tires. (Lovely to know that my tires will never go flat, but hoo boy that suspension is a doozy)All in all, a great buy if you're looking for an inexpensive commuter scooter, just so long as your knees are in good shape and you don't mind being yeeted into the stratosphere when you try to come to a quick stop.
