Easy to open and close, keeps my coffee hot all morning, and never leaks. It's a pretty rugged cup, available in some really nice colors. Fits perfectly in my car's cupholder. The best 24-oz insulated mug in my opinion.

It fits in the cup holder, the lid is absolutely easy to use, completely spill proof, keeps my drink warm for hours. What isn't to love? Heck, it's even easy to clean.The reason I like this better than the last one is the bottom seems more robust. I work outside so dropping things is a fact of life. I think this one will hold up a bit better in the years to come.

I like contigo mugs as I am prone to dropping my coffee mug due to a cluttered desk. Their locking lids help prevent spillage. I have had a 24 oz contigo mug for several years but the screw on cap was complicated mechanically due to its many parts and I found it difficult and time consuming to do the cleaning that was needed to avoid long strands or chunks of brown sludge suddenly appearing in my mouth while consuming my coffee! This model is a significant improvement with a simpler lid, lower cost and the same 24 oz that stays hot all day.

Mixed feelings about this mug. Starting with the pros:- It's compact for the volume - sort of short and squat, it fits under many automated coffee makers that other mugs won't, and should fit most car cupholders.- It does keep beverages warm (and cold). Not the best insulation (it's metal, but double-walled), but adequate for keeping hot drinks hot-ish and cold drinks cold-ish for a couple of hours.- It's relatively easy to clean, with a metal interior (except for the plastic lid), and the top is dishwasher-safe.- It's comparatively inexpensive, with a sleek, modern design.And the cons:- It has a metal base that tapers slightly to the bottom, making it less stable than a straight design and easier to tip over, and with no cushioning can scratch or dent furniture or damage floors if dropped.- The thin rim and short threads makes it easily cross-threaded, resulting in no doubt the numerous complaints of leaking. It actually seals very well when sufficiently tightened and with the lid closed completely, but takes some attention and effort to close.- The lid, as others note, is the weak point of this design. It can take two hands to open and close, and unlike other Contigo designs doesn't automatically close - it requires a firm snap. Opening can also be challenging to overcome the stiff closure, and there's no definite "stop" point when opening so there is a potential for damaging it. Since it requires some effort to close, in use it generally will stay open, so any tipping of the container (or if you forget and leave it open in your backpack), the contents will spill out. When open, the rounded lip can also cause liquid to pour out where you don't want it - like all over your clothes. In use, unless you close it each time you use it, it's a slight improvement over an open cup in that it (probably) won't spill its entire contents if tipped over or dropped.It's not the worst travel mug design, but it's not the best either, including among Contigo's own offerings. It's not bad, but the key word is "travel," and there are better mugs out there for that purpose, maybe not as cheap or as compact or even as nice looking, but worth exploring alternatives depending on your needs. Recommended, with comments as noted.

I bought one of these and ended up coming back and getting a 2 pack. They don't leak, hold two large cups of coffee, and keep it hot for at least 4 hours. I made coffee at 7am, forgot my cup at home, and at 10pm it was slightly warmer than room temp. The lid was a little weird at first and hard to open but now I'm used to it and it got easier to open. I won't use any other mug now.

Keeps coffee super hot even when snap seal is open - snap seal is opposite drink spout - pop seal and the plug for spout/hole on opposite side of lid from the snap seal lever, is opened - great design - does not leak if tips over

Tengo otros termos de esta marca y funcionan de maravilla, este en particular no se a que se deberá pero no retiene el calor como lo indica, son del mismo fabricante "Contigo".
