5.0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive fix but will need additional glue
(function(){ P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function'){ A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })() Coming out to a little bit over $1 per sqft you can't expect it to be perfect. It is easy to install. We use a set of very sharp construction scissors and it worked better using an exacto knife or utility knife. We bought some Gorilla glue (one tube per 80 sqft) because the adhesion wasn't great and filled in the corners with gray caulk Even if you put weights on to overnight, the corners do come up after. You must make sure the floor underneath is very clean. We put it over our broken tiles and didn't want to remove the subfloor. We needed something that could easy fix our uneven floors. Let's see if it lasts for a few years. So far it has been a week. Also, they need to work on packaging it better. Some boxes the corners came chipped (1 out of 5 boxes).
1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money
Bought 3 boxes to cover a small bathroom area in an RV. Figured I'd use about a box, would keep the other 2 for goofs or repairs down the road, maybe another project. Well, I'm glad I bought extra because this stuff is garbage. Doesn't break well when scored, the laminate is literally a glued on sticker that will immediately peel at the corners and edges. The "peel and stick" adhesive on the back was about as sticky as one of those "Hi! My name is ______" tags that you'd get to put on your shirt when you register for a crappy conference. I had to glue them to the ground. The next day, I had to go around and glue the laminate on the corners and edges down. I will be scraping this junk off the floor at the end of camper season. Don't waste your time or money on this.
5.0 out of 5 stars Quick & easy upgrade
I was so pleased to find this inexpensive easy diy upgrade for our bathroom floor. The original off white vinyl had yellowed to a dirty orangey-yellow and looked horrible. These we put down in a day and it’s beautiful! Good stick if the floor is clean and level- we had a few spots where the vinyl had unglued and warped on the original floor and we had to add a little glue and heavy objects to get them to stay stuck but that was not a fault of the adhesion but the existing flooring below. Highly recommend!
4.0 out of 5 stars Looks pretty good
These peel and stick tiles are exactly what I expected. They look pretty good overall, and they stuck fairly well. I would highly recommend anyone that uses these to clean the existing floor extremely well. We cleaned ours several times to make sure no dirt or small debris was on the ground. I think that's why we had no issue with them sticking. There are one or two where the edges or corners ever so slightly lift up, but nobody would ever notice besides us lol. For the price these are pretty good and I'm happy with them.
3.0 out of 5 stars The glue doesn't hold the squares in place very well
Color and pattern are nice however they do not stick to the floor that well
5.0 out of 5 stars It Works if you read the description
This product has poor adhesion capabilities! With that being said by many, you should buy this product knowing that the intention is to be able to remove it when it's time to leave your rental apartment. It works as intended. You SHOULD use this on a flat surface. My bathroom is not perfectly flat, however with the use of a few drops of silicone around the perimeter of each tile, I was able to get a satisfactory installation. You can use scissors and or a sharp blade/box cutter to custom fit imperfect locations or areas that need smaller pieces of tile. If you plan to use this without extra adhesive, I only suggest doing so to a room that has a clean, and perfectly smooth floor.
2.0 out of 5 stars Corners lifted
The corners and edges of the tiles immediately lifted and no matter how many times I attempted to push them back down, including placing objects on top for the weight, they continued to lift up. Looked so bad, I ripped it all out and threw them away.
5.0 out of 5 stars love
Getting me somemore of these bad boys
Easy to use
(function(){ P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function'){ A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })() Quick and easy to use . Cuts were easy to do with a Stanley knife . Peel and stick method worked great
Value for money
Look great down
After 6 months they need replacing
I used these in both the kitchen and bathroom, 6 months in and they are all lifting up in the corners. I followed all directions but added coloured silicone in the seams to smooth out the look. The ones without silicone are showing the most lift. It now looks terrible.
They don't stick
I followed the instructions. Cleaned and primed the concrete floor. Basement is dry and not too cool. They just don't stick. Total waste.
Not Bad
These were fine for the purpose I bought them. Thin enough to be cut with scissors...don't know whether that is a plus or not! Not all of them stuck as well as I hoped they would and I vac'd after laying every tile.
