This shampoo is amazing! I suffered from really bad dandruff (scaling/peeling) for 4 years straight after neglecting my hair for so long due to stress. And this product worked like a miracle. Just recently this summer I started having really bad flare ups on my scalp and it was super red. I tried a bunch of shampoos to control the dandruff and nothing worked. Even head and shoulders didn’t work for my scalp. Literally I would have dandruff on my scalp in two days after washing and it was so embarrassing to have dandruff fall off on my shirts, but after using this product I have no more itching, scaly dandruff and flare ups. I wanted to cry because, I was so desperate for a product and didn’t want to go to a dermatologist, because they will just prescribe a topical cream and I can’t use creams on my scalp since I have locs and that causes build up. I even use it for my face now , since I suffer from hormonal acne and it cleared up my skin almost instantly as well. I used a dime size amount to 4 sections and rubbed my scalp and left the product in for 2-3 mins. They say wait for 5 mins, but I honestly don’t like staying in the shower that long. I washed my hair 3 times with this shampoo and followed up with a moisturizing shampoo and rinsed. The only downside is that the shampoo is very drying to your hair, so I would recommend to either dilute with another moisturizing shampoo or use a moisturizing shampoo afterwards on your hair. Also The shampoo is a little thick and using a applicator bottle with water to dilute it will help as well. The smell is nice, it smells very fresh. I highly recommend and will be using this product from now on. No more head and shoulders for me!

I have struggled with Dandruff for most of my adult years. It gets really bad during the season change. I have also been losing hair for the last 10 years. I'm not bald, just thinning. I've tried a number of different products, all of which work for a little bit, but it just masks it. The dandruff always returns. Nizoral said it would deal with both dandruff and hair fall out, and it could used only once a week. I ordered this out of frustration and crossed my fingers that it would work.I've followed the instructions using it every 3-4 days now for two weeks. I do a quick wash and follow it up with a nice lather that I let sit for 10 minutes or so. After the first wash, I couldn't tell a huge difference. I didn't get the "good burn" that some people talk about either. After the second wash though, I could tell my scalp was improving. Now that I've used it 4 times, I can honestly say that I have NO DANDRUFF. This is the first time in my adult life I've ever said that. This is seriously a miracle product! The bottle says to continue the once ever 3-4 days thing for up to 8 weeks. Then drop down to about once a week. I will try the once a week washing sooner than 8 weeks for sure.Some folks have mentioned that the "smell" can be off-putting, however, I don't find it that bad at all. If you've ever tried T-Gel, you know how bad it can be, and Nizoral is no where close to that. I use a touch of conditioner afterward and there is no trace. I totally recommend this product.

So far so good !! It smells good and I used it and my scalp hasn’t been so itchy. I’m going to continue until my scalp becomes much more healthier.

I lived for 20 years with a flaky, disgusting scalp. I remember sitting in the library of my school as a kid and watching the "snow" accumulate on my binder. It was only later when I gained some puberty that I realized the deep embarrassment that comes from people saying "you have something in your hair", or noticing it myself either on my head, clothes, or in pictures. The worst!We had a arsenal of dandruff shampoos and none of them worked. The tar smelt horrible and I swore of chemical solutions. When I turned 27 and my scalp was worse than ever, I hit a breaking point. I was done with natural remedies. I wanted something that worked. I also did research and learned exactly what was causing my flaking problem, because denial was my friend and I told myself it was "dry scalp". Fast forward I found this product and ordered it post haste.At first I left it on my head for ten minutes, and after the shower I noticed my scalp ached a bit. It was a weird feeling. The itching and scaling continued for the first three washes or so, then I noticed... It was starting to work! I could feel a difference on my head that went beyond a surface level solutions. I also ordered and still use a shampoo brush which is amazing for getting off all the dead skin and working in the active ingredient.It's been months since I've seen a single flake on my head. For the first time in my life I can use styling products on my scalp without irritation. I can let people play with my 3ft of hair without cringing and angling myself so they don't see the top of my head. I can wear black clothing and it doesn't look like I got caught in a snow storm. And I no longer feel like Severus Snape. Overall, if you suffer from seborrheic dermatitis of the head or fungal acne, this is the next best thing to going to the dermatologist.

I used this for the first time today. Very powerful, with a pungent but somewhat pleasant smell. I could feel the oils being stripped from my hair. Alot of hair strands came out too, but I think that's my hair in shock from changing shampoos. It leaves my hair very clean and soft, however very dry. Drink Alot of water right after using. Isn't think I've ever had my hat this clean and oil free in my life though! I'm also using for hair thinning on the top of my head, so see how this goes. Little nervous after seeing more hair come out, but gonna keep going! I've used this for about a month now, and I can literally feel the fuzzy hairs coming in ALL OVER THE SCALP! ITS WORKING! I drank a ton of water, used one of those massage brushes to shampoo in Nizoral, and took vitamin D supplements and used this shampoo every 3 days.
