And I've had plenty of both. I decided to write a review on this product because it exceeded my expectations. I read the reviews about it and bought it based on them. First of all, the reviewers that said it is heavy, it is heavy! If that's a problem, then it's not for you. With weight you get heft and sturdiness. I think it's really easy to hold in the hand and has a nice ergonomic feel to it.I really like the knives on it. I'm not a fan of blades that have some serration to them. Don't get me wrong. There's a use for serrated blades and plain blades. I just don't like them on the same blade. This has a serrated blade AND a plain one. So, you pick which one you need. Another thing about the blades. They have an opening on them and are situated such that you open either one with one hand. For me that's huge. How many times can you not get your other hand loose to open the blade? For me that happens a lot and being able to do that without having to open the pliers or use your other hand is important. They also lock and have a nice release. Oh, and before leaving the blades, someone complained that there's was not sharp. I could slice paper with it right out of the box. Another reviewer thought they weren't stainless steel. I'll know for sure if it gets a patina, but right now it sure doesn't look like it's carbon steel. I haven't really used the other tools much, but they seem good quality and are useful. Some of the multi-tools I've seen have some goofy stuff on them. This one's pretty basic and they're easy to open. The file tool is good and I like that it has it on the edge as well as the file. Also has a ruler on the back. I like the way the screwdriver works. It locks at a 90 degree angle as well as in line with the handle. The bits are two-sided and store nicely in the holster. the only suggestion would be to have had one of them be a standard square driver bit. As far as the pliers and wire cutter, I haven't tried cutting wire yet or used the pliers, but they are tight and good quality.Bottom line, if you don't want to pay Leatherman price but want pretty darn close to it in quality, I highly recommend this tool.

After buying one for a Brother-in-law, bought this one for myself.Knives blades are SHARP.The interchangeable screwdriver bits needed a touch of dish washing soap to make their removal easier, yes, they are nice and tight.Heavy, as a real tool to be used, should be.Solid construction. Nothing cheapo here and it's nicer than my 30 year old "buck brand".

Got this for Christmas. Great value for the money. Sturdy, quality multitool, with a great selection of tools. Nice canvas case. Wish there was a way for the case to mount horizontally on the belt. Not sure I'd pay.for Leatherman after this.

This tool is a great idea, sturdily executed, but its action (opening the pliers and blades, etc.) is almost too stiff for my arthritic hands. Also, there's plenty of room in the handle to make bit storage instead of it being in the case. Other than that, a damn handy rig.

It feels like a tank. If you got bigger hands its got nice ergonomics and the texture gives it a good grip. Not gonna nitpick about a multitool at this price, nothing is affecting its usability. I like that all the tools open without having open up the pliers and they lock. I wouldn't use this as my EDC but great to leave in your car, office or going somewhere this and a hammer will do.

I been name brand guy when it comes to certain tactical items or everyday items I carry. I said let me give this thing a shot. I said if it’s not as good as the (Pleatherman lol) I can return it. NOPE, really high end material. Well built, everything is sharp, all tools work as described and the case and screwdriver attachments is a great touch. This is a quality tool that is great to have. This tool will get you out of emergencies and bind.Every tool that is included in this is 9very strong and built with great quality. I have no issues with the tool, but the case would be much better if it was a clip on.

Besonders positiv fällt die, für den Preis, hochwertige Verarbeitung auf: Die Materialien wirken robust, und auch bei intensiver Nutzung zeigen sich keine größeren Schwachstellen. Es liegt das Gefühl von Langlebigkeit und Qualität in der Hand, was bei solchen Werkzeugen nicht selbstverständlich ist.Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die einfache Handhabung. Die einzelnen Werkzeuge lassen sich mühelos ausklappen und rasten sicher ein. Dabei bleibt alles stabil und zuverlässig. Das Multitool vermittelt in jeder Situation Vertrauen.Die Vielseitigkeit hat mich ebenfalls positiv überrascht. Mit Werkzeugen wie einem Messer, Schraubenziehern, einer Zange und einer Feile deckt es viele alltägliche Anwendungen ab. Egal, ob beim schnellen Reparieren, Basteln oder im Outdoor-Einsatz – das Multitool erweist sich als ein verlässlicher Helfer. Wenn man ein sehr leichtes Multitool sucht, ist man hiermit nicht gut beraten.Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt könnte sein, dass einige der Werkzeuge für sehr spezielle Aufgaben eventuell fehlen – das hängt aber stark von den individuellen Bedürfnissen ab. Für den allgemeinen Einsatz im Alltag ist es jedoch mehr als ausreichend ausgestattet.Insgesamt hinterlässt das Multitool bei mir einen sehr positiven Eindruck. Es ist kein Schnickschnack, sondern ein solides, gut durchdachtes Werkzeug, das im Alltag immer wieder nützlich ist. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die nach einem zuverlässigen Begleiter suchen.
