I’ve never colored my own hair prior to using this product. I’ve unexpectedly been away from home for a couple of months and the grey in my regrowth, which is mostly at my temples and by my ears was bothering me, so I decided to give this a try.The application was super easy for me, since I don’t have grey all over my head. I was worried the color wouldn’t match, but somehow, it blends right in with no lines. I was surprised that the directions specified applying to dirty hair, so I applied it to my post-gym, sweat dried hair prior to my shower. I only used about half the bottle, but set it aside, just in case, instead of tossing.After applying, I was concerned it was staining the skin on my face, because the skin got quite dark. All that color easily washed off my face, but the hair remained colored. After my hair was washed and dried, I noticed about 4-5 stubborn grays that weren’t colored all the way to the roots, so I reapplied, using color I set aside, and left that small spot about 20 minutes. Rewashed that section and found the second application worked like a charm.This seems ridiculously easy and fool proof. Highly recommend.

This is my go to root cover up after trying other brands. It’s so easy to apply and the color lasts longer than other big name brands , in my opinion. I don’t have much hair so I use it for all over coloring; there’s plenty of product if you have fine, short hair. It doesn’t come with conditioner like the full coverage ones but I’ve had no issues with using my own conditioner after coloring.

Grey color not covered in 15 minutes
I followed the instructions as written in cover.. But i think it should leave on 25 minutes instead of 15 minutes.. Second, u can't keep the product for future as i used to do for tube color.. I can reorder and see if this color cover grey hairs

Does the job!
I have over processed fine hair from bleaching to quite a high level. I changed to dark blonde, but wanted to colour less often, so when the roots had grown out a bit, I tried this product and it was a godsend. Root Rescue effectively coloured my roots seamlessly and also made my hair more manageable. I was able to colour the growth quickly and then shampoo right away in the shower. This product is great if you do not want to colour all of your hair as often and put the ends through the stress that they would otherwise experience from that process. More time between full colourings = better for your hair in the long run! But just to let you know if you're a person with thick hair: the kit does not provide a lot of product.
Good touch up
It comes in handy when you need a quick touch up and it is an ok price through Bolo - some stores can be cheaper if you it a good sale etc.
