I got two, and I like them both - lots of fun patterns/colors to choose from. Be sure to practice opening it before you need it, tho. Mine were hard to open at first until they had been opened a few times. Super handy to throw in your purse or bag for an outdoor event where it may rain.

We bought this for our trip abroad and it was just the right size. There was no worry over whether or not we'd have the room to carry it around with us throughout the day or if it would be too heavy.

The knob on the end is screwed on. I took the umbrella on a trip and carried it around on the day that rain was forecasted. When it started sprinkling, I went to open the umbrella and the entire knob had unscrewed during my walk and was lost. You could still open the umbrella, it you would have had to hold it up by the support arms. So I ditched it in the nearest trash can and bought a great one for $10 at the souvenir stand that had an auto open button.When the souvenir stand price and quality is better, that’s how you know this one is not of good quality and value.

We ordered two of these for the expressed purpose of taking them on a multi-city trip to Europe. We wanted a lightweight and compact umbrella, and we got it. For the limited use on the trip (2 days in use), they were fine...but low quality. We didn't even feel they were worth bringing back on the flight with us. So...they were donated to a local shelter in Paris. For the price and size, they worked for us...but the umbrella is not going to last a full season. You should treat this like it is disposable.

I had originally purchased a different umbrella that was difficult for my child to open and they ended up pinching their fingers. This umbrella has an easy to use button so no more accidentally getting your fingers pinched. Easily fits in a backpack. Great compact umbrella.

I have only had my umbrella for three days. I have used it several times on walks to keep the sun off of me and it works fantastic! I bought the sky one and it is so beautiful. It opens easily and is sturdy so far. It is a great compact size and easy to hold. The spring load button is great for opening and it is so light compared to the ones I have from local stores. I like it a lot. It is exactly what I hoped for!

It’s not small
“Mini travel compact” it’s none of those things. It’s bulky and has no button as claimed. It’s also very stiff to open. The photos are extremely misleading. No way would the umbrella fit into that bag and you could easily think that it’s not much bigger than a mobile phone. And the hand balancing it! I’m so cross with myself for being fooled. Don’t waste your money. It’s a big con.

it doesn't open automatically
This umbrella is the worst purchase anyone can make. With its price, you could easily buy two much better umbrellas. The quality is subpar, and it's difficult to open. Contrary to my initial assumption based on the price, it doesn't open automatically. Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to this detail when buying it, assuming it must be automatic at that cost. Returning it wasn't cost-effective, so I'm stuck with this useless umbrella and won't be using it at all.
