I bought this kinetic play sand for my grandsons to play with (2 and 5).It’s clean, has a texture similar to brown sugar and doesn’t dry out. You can make sand castles, use as a construction site item or make ‘snow men.’ Definitely recommend.

Quality is outstanding. We’ve had this sand for almost 5-6 months and it hasn’t changed consistency. Great activity for my 1.5 yr old - keeps them entertained for a while. Easy to use and love the natural color. Worth the purchase! My only con is if squeezed very hard it tends to stick onto tiny clamy hands. Just heads up.

I got the 11 pound box and it is exactly the right size for a medium sensory box. I’d say it’s exactly the right amount for 1-2 toddlers to play with. My husband hates normal sand because that gets everywhere and this was our compromise so our kiddo can play with sand at home. It had a weird chemical smell when we took it out of the box- I hope it wears off with use and this is part of why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars although I would have given 4.5 stars if I could have. Also it comes packed (like really really packed) in the original packaging so you have to spend about 5 min fluffing up the sand the first time to get it ready. The other issue I have with it is that it is too heavy for a toddler to use a shovel in. However it molds perfectly and you can let it fall through your hands slowly and hide toys in it (even fabric ones) without anything sticking or getting dirty. When it falls out of the sensory box It cleans up easily- just grab a handful of sand and use it to blot up the rest of the sand. Overall great and I recommend it!

This is the best sand in the world. I purchased this for my toddler as a sensory play but he was a bit too young for it at the time. Once he got older he was playing at a friends house and he had some sand. My son had the best time with the sand. Now I'm not going to say this does not make a mess because it does trust me; however this is the easiest mess to clean up. Just grab a small clump and start collecting. This sand is so satisfying that even adults love it. I created a small construction zone for my toddler and we play with this every single day. We even brought out the monster trucks and create ramps for them.

Great value! So much kinetic sand! My 11 year old self is over the moon. Would be nice if it came in a Resealable container. But it’s fun and my kid loves it.

The other magic sands don't compare
This sand is amazing. I knew 2lb bag wouldn't be enough, so I got 11lb and it's perfect. I put it in my sons water table that has a cover. He's 2.5 and it's his favourite activity. I also love playing with it. It's so relaxing and fun. Other knock off kinetic sands don't compare. This stuff is worth the money!
