Dissolves very fast and mixes with the pool water to ensure it helps stabilize your chlorine's level. Remember to add more when you do a filter flush!

The Clorox App makes adding this chemical in the appropriate amount easy. Product works well and lasts about one month. Dissolving directly in the water takes DAYS and has the potential to negatively affect the pool liner! I will pre-dissolve next time or add to a nylon sock and allow the product to slowly dissolve over time. I did not feel comfortable adding to my pool strainer and making my pump temporarily work harder.

I add this when I first open up my pool in the spring. I've found after balancing my pool and adding this stabilizer, I hardly have to touch the chemicals all season. If definitely presents the chlorine from evaporating and is well worth the cost to prevent frustration. I always have this on hand each season but never have to add more after my initial instillation. Highly recommend!
