Water heats up quickly, boils for a few minutes. It’s sturdy. The center area of the lid nor the handle are hot to touch. The water meter works correctly and is easy to read. Has a removable filter for the spout. The button to open the lid depresses easily. I like the stainless steel. When empty, it’s light weight. A good price for good quality. We’ll see how long it lasts.

This is great, especially because I have a kid who lives off from a noodles. As if eating ramen noodles once a day isn't bad enough, I'm sure microwaving a plastic bowl is the icing on the cake. I also enjoy a cup of tea at night, but sometimes I'm really lazy and I won't drink one just because I don't want to heat up water. This is literally so easy. I love that it lights up blue. And my favorite part is that once it's done boiling it automatically turns off. This is great for my preteen daughter as she also enjoys making hot chocolate or tea or soup! A great option that in my opinion is safer than the microwave since she's lit the microwave on fire three times in the past year. I do unplug it when I'm done for extra safety. But yeah it's the perfect size. When I'm putting water in just for my son's soup it literally heats it up faster than 3 minutes. It would take in the microwave. I highly recommend this product. Great value. Looks nice. Works great. And hopefully no more microwave fires now that we have this

Our old plastic electric kettle stopped working, and I wanted to try a stainless steel one. This was a good price, so I tried it. It holds more water than our last kettle and heats about as quickly. Our plastic one didn't get too hot on the outside, but this one is too hot to touch so beware. I must have misread the description and expected a retractable cord, but the cord merely wraps around the interior of the base, which they advertise as a safety feature, but if you don't have the cord coming out of the notch, it isn't that safe. The on off switch is easy to use, although sticks out awkwardly at the bottom (our last one has the switch as part of the handle). I don't know why they have us rate temp control...you can't select a water temperature as in some hot water kettles/dispensers. It cleans up well.

I got this pot to replace my smaller one. It was especially chosen for the level gauge on the side, rather than under the handle. I had a lot of trouble seeing the other while holding it to fill, but the side level is quite easy to see, even in low light levels.After a few times of forgetting I was waiting on the stove top kettle to boil and walking away, we decided that I should go to the electric pot least I start a fire. The electric pot, with auto shutoff is a blessing. My wife even likes it more than the old stove kettle. Being very quick to boil, we use it for coffee and tea, of course, but also for packages of instant items needing boiling water.The bottom of the pot remains cool so you an set it down without fear. The sides do get hot, but the handle is big enough to keep your hand free of the heat while pouring. It can be used to heat from one cup to about 7 cups of water at a time. It's been a great item and it's safer for simple minded me.

Staying with family I needed something to prepare myearly morning tea without the noisy microwave or a whistling tea kettle. Even after steeping my tea, it is still hot. I like the way it comes off the plate and the lid stays open while pouring. It functions as described . I do recommend it.

No quería comprar una de cristal por miedo a que alguien en mi casa la rompiera y decidí buscar una de acero inoxidable. Había más baratas pero tardan más en hervir y yo lo que quería es que fuera tan rápido que tan solo en lo que preparaba todo de mi café ya estuviera el agua así que esta funciono muy bien.El acero es un poco más delgado de lo que me gustaría por lo que creo que se puede abollar si se te cae pero sigue siendo mejor que una de cristal en ese sentido y las que se veian más gruesas si eran considerablemente más caras.Compré esta porque era de importación de USA y mucha gente decía que era excelente sin quejas, la verdad esperaba tantita más calidad en los plásticos pero tampoco son malos y hasta ahora hace su trabajo a la perfección y me dio más confianza que otras marcas que si lucían ser corrientes. Espero la base no se descomponga pero me gustan los botones y hace su trabajo muy bien. Tardó un poquito en llegar pero me asegure que fuera de acero y de 1500W en un proveedor de USA que regularmente son más estrictos con la calidad de artículos chinos o asiáticos que llegan.
