The Klein Tools Laser Line Bubble Level LBL100 projects a high power horizontal laser line and spot parallel to the base that reaches up to 75-Foot (22.9 m). Use the laser to align ceiling tiles, floor tile, studs, wood, saws, and more. Three easy to read vials identify horizontal and cross at 0-Degree level and vertical at 90-Degree. The strong Rare-Earth magnets in the base of the level attach to the included leveling stand and other ferromagnetic surfaces. The top features a V-groove to fit the contour of pipe, conduit, beam, pole, and other round surfaces. Includes a leveling stand for manual leveling on uneven surfaces.

I'll easily describe myself as a weekend warrior, and I needed a laser level for a shed project I was doing where I wanted to place 4 eye-hooks across a 10' door so I could slip an 8' pipe through them as a type of makeshift door lock. So, I just needed a cheap level, and this had good reviews. Sadly, though, when I tried using it there were some problems. First, for some reason the bubble measure on the top that balances the horizon was oddly slow to move. If I twisted the level one way or the other, the bubble had an odd delay when moving. It was almost like the bubble was trying to pass through molasses, and it would take a couple of moments for the bubble to level out dead center. Secondly, but mostly, it was when I did get the bubble center that I could see with my naked eye that the laser line was a bit slanted. I actually took my 3 foot regular level to see if the laser line was correct, and it wasn't. There were no instructions on if I needed (or could) twist the actual laser inside of the level to try and make it straight, and I wasn't about to try to figure it out.So, again, I'll describe myself as a weekend warrior project kinda guy, and you can take my review for what it is. But this is a level, and it's one of the easiest tools to use and know if something isn't working right. The item arrived with the laser slanted inside of the tool, and my eye-hooks are a bit off in their placement. I returned this back to Bolo within the week that I got it, and I'll probably spend a little more money on a Dewalt self-leveler the next time I ever need one again.

Well made torpedo level with a bonus
This level is well made and quite heavy. The laser line works well for some quick checks, but it's not really a replacement for a good self leveling line laser and tripod. Still it has it's use cases, for example I use it to quickly run around and check window/door heads for level to see if I can use jigs for marking out (need level head) or if I need to drag out the tripod and laser line level. Also, the vials cannot be used when the level is on it's side to produce a plumb line. While the vials are there, the line is so far out of plumb that I don't believe it is an intended use of the LBL100.
