Orgain 30g Plant Protein in chocolate flavor has become a staple in my daily routine, and for good reason. The taste is delicious, with a rich chocolate flavor that doesn’t have the artificial aftertaste that you sometimes get with other protein powders. It mixes easily, whether I’m blending it into a smoothie or simply shaking it up with water or almond milk—no clumps or grittiness, just a smooth and satisfying drink.One of the things I appreciate most about Orgain is that it’s free from harmful chemicals. It’s made with clean, organic ingredients, which is something I prioritize in my diet. To me, this tastes like a combination of the one with the green/white label/container and the blue/white (respectively) with Oatmilk. Since I never tried this one before it's formula changed (purportedly by other reviewers), I can't comment on any difference. I CAN say after trying it for the 1st time today that I really like it. It has a good vanilla flavor with an oat undertone. I did not experience any aftertaste, or find it too sweet.For reference, I eat 100% 'clean,' 100% of the time. I'm cautious with carbs - never refined, and only whole grains (or raw as it pertains to fruits/veggies). I haven't used sugar in any form since I was a child and even then, only incidentally. I don't drink carbonated beverages other than an occasional energy drink (a handful in a year might be stretching it), and only if the ingredients meet my standards. To me, sugar in any form is gaggingly sweet, which is why I'm baffled by the reviews saying this protein is "too sweet." Perhaps it's just personal preference??Anyhow, it mixes VERY well - absolutely nothing solid at the bottom of my shaker. The ingredients list speaks volumes on this product's quality. I WILL repurchase before I run out! 😃

This used to be the absolute best tasting protein supplement on the market, so the 5 stars I gave it are based on that. I just tasted the new variation (in the gray container) and it’s absolutely disgusting. Why would they take something that was so good and make it so awful? I guess it’s time to find another one that doesn’t taste this bad.

I’d say this is Orgains best option if you want best flavor and most proteins amount. I like this flavor the best compared to their original formula. Never made me bloated or anything like that. Lasted a long time too. Wasn’t too grainy either, overall good value!

So I intermittently use this product not because it is much wrong with it, the flavor is good for the most part, its very clean ingredients, and considering having plant proteins more often than the animal is such a benefit. This may be my own opinion but I don't like the texture and flavor and I can't tell if it's the pea protein or if my protein isn't blending well with just water or almond milk because I get this gritty taste, but when I do drink it it's not intolerable, in fact, I still drink it, I just maybe make a face when I try to chug it lol. Otherwise, it's pretty good nonetheless. $35 isn't bad for the price either, the serving size is two scoops for those that may wonder.

This has been my go-to Protein Powder for years at this point. The flavor wasn't overly sweet, but had a decent chocolate flavor. 30g at 2 scoops for a Vegan Protein Powder wasn't horrible, although the price has been consistently going up. However, I didn't mind paying for it because it wasn't super chalky and mixed well.But, recently, ever since they started putting out these grey canisters the taste has changed. It's almost like a weird coffee flavor, but not good. There really isn't a chocolate flavor at all. I don't know what motivated them to make this decision, but my God was it a bad one.Sadly going to have to cancel my monthly subscription and look for something new.

Taste is better than the regular vanilla potion. Tastes better when cold. Easier to mix with cold water. Used it for pre 5km run.
Extremely high sodium and low protein to serving ratio
400 mg protein per serving is ridiculously high an average healthy recommended amount for a day is 2300 mg overall. All competitors have 40-150 mg per serving
Weird taste
I just cannot tolerate the taste. I don't recommend the product with erythritol and stevia, they taste really weird. Of course taste is subjective. The taste is comparable to other brands.
