5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely would recommend this sweeper!
I wanted a carpet sweeper because I sleep during the day and I don't want to vacuum at night because it would disturb my neighbors. I finally ordered this one because I liked the color and the price. I read all the reviews but I was skeptical. I'm so glad I went ahead and got it. It works for me really well. I have black area rugs that show every little thing. In a couple of minutes, with hardly any effort, they looked as good as if I had vacuumed. The handle is a good height for me. It was easy to empty. It picked up a lot of hair that I never realized was there. The bristles cleaner was great for getting that out. Like other reviewers said, it's really convenient to use this instead of lugging the big vacuum cleaner around. The illustrated instructions are simple. They have a section called [Attention] with these cautions:1. Children must be used under the guardianship of adults. << That isn't a typo or a spell check error on my part. That's what they typed and printed and sent out.2. Do not wash the product or keep it in any damp place.3. Keep away from fire.Good to know!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great little metal sweeper!
We luv this carpet sweeper! It works on carpets which our vacumn cleaner gets stuck on. This sweeper has very good brushes, which pick up everything. It's easy to empty, and best of all, its made of metal, including the handle. The metal handle makes the sweeper sturdy and eazy to use.
4.0 out of 5 stars Does a good job.
Much easier to handle the vacuum cleaner.
5.0 out of 5 stars Better than Fuller... At least on carpet.
I purchased a Fuller sweeper for $80. That one flipped up, particularly on carpet/area rugs when it went backwards. In addition to that, I felt like I was pushing/pulling a boulder when I used it, even on hard floors. Not joking, my arms felt like I had just finish lifting some weights when I got done sweeping with it. I found these two things to be really annoying because the cheap Bissell sweeper I had years ago had neither of those issues and was much cheaper. I think there may have been something wrong with it, but I didn't have time to return, purchase another, and possibly have the same issue and have to return it again, so I just returned it for a refund.I purchased this one for 1/4 of the price of the Fuller. It's just as easy to put together and empty. But it's easier to sweep with because it doesn't flip up when it goes backwards. So 1st thumbs up to the cheap sweeper for that!As far as sweeping ability:On carpet/area rugs-- I would say this does just as good of a job of sweeping up on carpet/area rugs compared to the Fuller. But less strength needed to push/pull it than the Fuller and it doesn't flip up when it goes backwards. So 2nd thumbs up to the cheap sweeper for that!On hard floors-- I know. This thing says not to use it on hard floors, but I had to because the Fuller could be used on hard floors and I'm trying to compare... This, in my opinion, is where this little sweeper gets its 1st thumbs down. The Fuller picked up GREAT on my hard floor (vinyl), this one seemed to just push things around unless the crumbs or what have you were a little on the bigger side. No stars knocked off for this since it is advised not to use on hard floors to begin with.Comparing the Fuller and Yocada -- The Fuller bristles seemed to be a tad softer than the bristles on the roller of this sweeper, but not by a lot. On the 4-corners of the bottom of the sweeper, the Fuller had hair bristles, whereas this one has rubber bristles. The Fuller roller could be removed, this was nice when it came time to clean it. I don't see that the roller on this one can be removed. Other than those things, I dont really see any other huge differences.I'll be keeping this sweeper. To me, it's worth the $20. If I can get at least 6 months use out of it, that would be fine with me.Lastly, I suppose the Fuller could have been a little lower compared to this one which is why it was better on hard floors and harder to push/pull on carpet/area rugs. I'm not sure since I don't have the Fuller anymore to look at it and compare, but I also think it was defective which made the issues even worse, especially because of the much higher price where you would expect superior quality. This one, for $20, does what the manufacturer claimed it would so I am happy with it.*Pics are from not having vacuumed/swept for 5 days. There is 1 adult and 1 fur baby in my household. The last time I swept 5 days ago was with the Fuller and these pics were taken immediately after sweeping with the Yocada*
5.0 out of 5 stars Nostalgia!
Brings back memories of eating at Pizza Hut. Sweeper does a surprisingly great job on or porch rug. Seems very durable as well. For price paid, very happy with this purchase.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not as expected!
Easy assembly. Not heavy. It picks up little pieces from the floor but must of the time it happens after three times sweeping it with its brushes. It makes you work more. Does not reach corners and makes noise. I guess it is ok for the price.
5.0 out of 5 stars Really sweeps well!
My son isn't a big fan of the vacuum, so we needed an alternative for his playroom carpet. He has snacks up there, and will often get Goldfish crackers and peanut butter puffs all over the old shag carpet. The crumbs were hard to keep up with until we got this. I've used carpet sweepers before and didn't expect this to clean a lot, just the surface. This works so well! It gets 95% of the crumbs off the carpet, even after it's been a while and the crumbs are plentiful. Make sure you empty it regularly, though, because it can spill easily if you set it down too roughly on the ground, etc. I'm thinking of getting another one to bring to my office at work so I can remove evidence of my lunches at my desk. LolOverall, it was easy to put together because I think the handle just had to be screwed in, is a decent height, rolls easily/is not hard to push, is lightweight, cleans well, and is a great price.
Rien
Bin sehr zufrieden.
Great on rugs but not on hard floors
A little disappointed. Hard to roll easily and doesn’t pick up well on wood or ceramic surfaces.
Ne pas recommander
Ne ramasse pas les petites miettes. Il les éparpilles partout . Plus de travail pour moi.
