It started with Nalgene, then Tervis, followed by Swell, then Hydroflask and eventually Stanley. So why would I fall for the Owala hype, too? Honestly, I’m so glad I did because this is the perfect leakproof bottle. It’s TRULY leakproof. I haven’t found one like this before.It’s solidly built and super streamlined + aesthetically pleasing, and it’s a great alternative to a metal bottle. I fell hard for the Owala hype because I guess I need more emotional support bottles in my life, and I have one of their metal bottles as well. This plastic one is great for room temp water since it’ll sweat otherwise, and I use the metal one for icy cold water. This plastic bottle is also a great lightweight option. I love the little handle and I use a carabiner to clip it to a backpack. The bottle can also be disassembled easily so that every piece can be washed (including the rubber stopper within the lid - this is what forms the seal to keep the bottle from leaking). It’s just perfect in every way.This water bottle completes me! My search for the perfect bottle stops here.

I don't write reviews, but I had to for this one. Let me tell you, I've had many water bottles until I found this perfect bottle, and it truly is perfect. I am very particular- I use it just for water, and I need the straw so that I can sip while driving, watching my class, under mask, etc. And, as a busy mom, I can't wash my water bottle everyday. Also, I cannot use the stainless steel bottle as I sometimes put my homeopathic remedies in my water.I used to have Pogo soft straw bottle. While it was great, washing the top was a bit tricky and eventually it started to grow mildew. (They also don't make this size.) I also had Camelback flip straw bottle. I wanted to love it, but it was uncomfortable you had to chew the mouth piece and the drinking tip started to get dirty.Now, this Owala FreeSip is perfect in every way! First of all, it's so pretty (marshmallow) and sleek. The mouth piece feels great and effortless. The lid design not only gives you option to chug but you can fill the water bottle without taking the lid off. (No more water drips!) Because the cap is made of plastic, not silicone, it's easier to clean. After the first sip, I totally fell in love with this bottle so hard that I purchased another one in different color as a backup in case they discontinue it. (Please don't!) On the packaging, it says, "I know. Where have I been all your life?" -SO true! I love carrying this bottle everywhere and I even use it at home. Thank you Owala, for turning my water drinking into a delightful experience!

I love this bottle! It’s traveled to Europe with me twice since I bought it. I love that it’s lightweight—my Tritan Nalgene bottles are my go to when I’m home but the spout on this is so nice! I love that the drinking part is covered. That’s absolutely what I look for in a water bottle I’m taking outside of the house! I will say, though, I’m not sure how because I’ve only hand washed it, the silicone gasket vanished out of the lid of mine at some point. Might still be in Prague, lol. I swapped the lid for the insulated 25oz bottle I have and that’s fine ‘cause I like the color better. Prior to losing the gasket, I never had any issues with leaking. I really, really, REALLY would like to see this in a 32 or 40oz! Love this bottle but hate frequently having to refill it.

My daughter's school is now requiring all water bottles to be clear. It's really hard to find a godd, leak-proof CLEAR bottle. We love the Owallas and I was thrilled to see a clear option. The ability to sip or lift it to guzzle is the BEST. We have all different bottles and I love that this one works either way, without clicking or flipping anything! The lock totally works, and is amazing for inside the backpack. Totally doesn't leak - it's embarassing how often I've had to lay school papers out on the kitchen table to dry. And I LOVE the way that it comes apart for deep cleanings. Overall, love the brand, but especially thankful that they came out with a clear version!

The media could not be loaded. I love this brand! When I first received this, I was a little skeptical and thought no way it can hold 24 ounces. But it does hold 24 ounces as you can see! Minimal sweating and keeps your water cold for several hours. Do not recommend this for a hot liquid. Easy to clean and easy to carry. Nice sturdy handle. My kids are only allowed to bring clear water bottles to school. This works perfect for that solution. I found it difficult to find clear water bottles that are actually sturdy and can hold up to every day use. Glad I found this one.

The bottle is excellent for the intended uses, though the label was a bit of a pain to get off. The cap is good at preventing spills when it's closed, and the lock and release function excellently. The bottle warns you not to use it for carbonated or hot beverages, and this warning should not be ignored as it has a tendency to pressurize easily, causing heated beverages or soda to shoot out of the straw when the pressure releases.Other than that, as long as you have a bottle cleaning kit it's quick and easy to clean, and it holds liquid. You aren't looking for a thermos or you'd have looked for a thermos.

Makes drinking water fun
I have a few of these water bottles and absolutely love them. Purchased this one as a gift for my brother as he always comments on how cool my water bottle is when he takes a sip from it when we are out and about. Does this titan plastic keep things cold? No. But I honestly don’t care that much. It is durable, has not once leaked in the 2 years I’ve had these bottles, and the ability to sip with a straw or glug from the larger opening is what makes this water bottle so unique and fun to use.
Awesome waterbottle!
Ordered this for my 8 year old to bring to school. The lid stays closed in her backpack and we have had no spills! The colours are fun and its large enough for her to get a good amount of water in at school. She really likes the fact that you can sip from the straw or tip it to drink. Very cool design. Will buy more.
