This is great for kids or pokemon collectors. Theres a lot of cards and mostly none repeated. They do contain all types of cards like trainers, energy and so on. But other than that I think a kid will be happy with them.

My 10-year-old grandson is really into Pokémon. I had no idea if this was a good set or not, but I wanted a little filler to put in a goodie box for him. He absolutely loved it! It had a lot of cards in it, I want to guess maybe 25 or so and it literally was his favorite gift! Even though he had many more larger, expensive items to open. Really nice set for the price.

None dated back to 1999. Few were duplicates. All ranged from 2021 to 2023 one was a 2024. It was an ex rare. None were v star. Nor ultra rare. Waste of money. Don't purchase
