i have terrible eyesight 24/7 yet my husband, who only needs these for reading his phone, has lost more readers than all of the prescription glasses and sunglasses i have ever owned in my entire life put together. this is now the third set of multiple readers i have bought him. i think he sensed i was annoyed by this because he was using the last pair of readers he had - it only had one arm on it and i guess he was willing to use one arm readers than confess that he had lost all of his other readers again and that the last pair he had, he sat on. normally i would have let him use his one arm readers but then i thought about us being in a restaurant and him putting them on to read the menu LOL. but i did make him pay for this set instead of me just buying them lol. of course i like that it's a set of 5 (it's not a luxury, it's a necessity lol) and when he tried them on, he said they were fine, they felt great and worked perfectly. he has one of those faces that every pair of glasses just always seem to fit whereas my face is wider, but even when i tried them on, i didn't feel like they were too tight, they felt fine. not surprisingly, since i purchased these, he's already lost a pair. he doesn't use the little cases that come with them, he just sticks them in his pocket, but so far they seem sturdy as they still have both arms. if i am comparing them to readers i personally use when i wear contacts and spent a lot of money on, they are a little less in quality when i hold them in my hands and look at them, but when they are on the face, you cannot tell the difference, they look perfectly fine. and full disclosure, i bought these because $15 was the amount of money he was willing to spend for readers.

Way more durable than much more expensive glasses. So far, very pleased with quality, durability, and value. I wish you could order the 5 pack with different magnifications instead of 5 which are all the same.

While at work I made the connection that the massive headaches I was having were likely caused by eye strain so I got a pair of safety glasses with readers built in and my problem was solved. Now that I accepted I was an old man at 45 I decided to go all in. I bought this five pack of readers and distributed them throughout all of the touch points in my life so I am never far from a pair of readers. While I do not enjoy needing the glasses they have really improved my life. The quality is there in both clarity of vision and materials. They are comfortable wear and I I honestly look decent in them. After putting a pair in both vehicles, bedroom, family room and living room I feel I am ready to take on the world. As an added benefit my wife, who hates wearing her readers, is now comfortable wearing them around the house as needed. We are the happy middle aged old people now.

They work. I've bought this item 3 times now..in a year. However, they are throw away readers hence the reason I've had to buy them 3 times in a year. (plus I've lost a few pairs). After using them a short time, cleaning the lenses, taking them on/off. Putting them on your head, or on your shirt collar the arms and lenses become loose. They creak and crack in the frames, the screws back themselves out and then never get tight. I've had to use super glue on the screws to get them to stay tight. I've had lenses pop out, and the frames have just broke out of the blue while cleaning the lenses. I get it, they are disposable readers to get the job done, but I've also had drug store readers that have lasted years...I'll go on the search for a sturdier pair....or maybe I'll just buy for a 4th time.
