This is my second order and I couldn't be happier. This popcorn pops up in a mushrooms shape and most all of the kernals pop leaving very few if any unpopped kernals.

compared to regular popcorn the mushroom popcorn when popped resulted in too many very large hulls that distracted from the taste and made it difficult to eat. This may be inherent with mushroom popcorn, but it made the results less attractive.If there is an easy way to separate the hulls from the finished popcorn, then it would help.Resultant popcorn was hard to chew.

These do pop into mushroom shape if you don't put too many kernels in the pan. The directions say to use 3 teaspoons of kernels but that's only one tablespoon so I think they meant 3 tablespoons and that's the amount I've been using. 1 teaspoon of kernels wouldn't yield enough popped corn to make it worthwhile to get out the pot and the oil. The hulls on this type of popcorn are huge, which isn't ideal for me, but that's the trade off if you want the mushroom style end result. I have very few unpopped kernels and the flavor and texture is good.

I have been seeking popcorn shaped like balls for better caramel and flavored snacks. This is not it. This is typical butterfly popcorn, just with a much tougher husk, making it tough to chew. Flavor is ok.

Excellent popcorn! We popped it with peanut oil and another time used Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I’d recommend using a little less popcorn than you’d usually use - as this popcorn pops up bigger, filling the pan quickly and dislodged the lid on our pan! It’s light, meaty and has great flavor. The hulls are minimal - they are there, but not bothersome and few. We tried it plain, then with a touch of Pink Himalayan Sea Salt. And of course we had to try it with organic butter. All were great! It’s a wonderful product and the only negative about it is the price.... BUT it’s worth it! We absolutely love it!

This the absolute perfect corn for making caramel corn. Pops up incredibly giant and fluffy with rarely an unpopped kernel. You won't be disappointed.
