5.0 out of 5 stars Truly a game for the entire family!

Wow, what great fun! A trivia board game with such a brilliant design; 2 loops to move across the board and the 3-D wagering pyramid. The inside loop is shorter to give kids a more obtainable goal while competing with adults! Every clue gives the category, 3 bits of trivia, an image of the answer, & the answer. With each question the answer becomes easier to guess. Yes! A game for adults, elders, teens, tweens and young children to play together- at the same time. Players write down their answer on a nice little dry erase "scribbler" as soon as they have a guess. The scribble is placed on the pyramid indicating how many spaces you BET to move forward. Wait, a wee bit of gambling in a board game?? No joke, this is an awesome trivia game! This trivia board game was fun from the moment we opened the box. There seems to be countless categories and the clue cards are double sided! We will be playing this game for a very long time. I am so excited to play with friends and family during holiday seasons.

This game is 100% luck, and very easy to play. It's a simple, fun concept. Truly, every person in the game has an equal chance of winning. It's kind of like War, but doesn't seem to drag on endlessly. For the younger kids who seem to get beat at every game, because they are just a little to young, this makes an equal playing field. We just use the whole deck, evenly divided, no matter how many players. We don't follow the guidelines for how many cards should be in play. Doesn't seem to matter much. Probably makes the game a little longer that way. But, it still goes pretty quickly.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice game for trivia lovers and for those who usually don’t enjoy them!

I love playing board games with my son. He’s 16 now and I thought when he got older he wouldn’t like playing board games with his mom as much, but he still does…but, they need to be fun. He LOVES trivia games…me, not so much 😂 He can blow me away when it comes to most trivia games, so it makes it not so much fun for mom 😂 I liked that it said this one had clues, and it seemed like a fun and unique type of trivia game so I figured we’d try it.We really like this game, but there are a few things that can improve it.First, the concept of the game…It has a kind of pyramid type board. Each player gets a little dry erase board and dry erase marker to write their guesses. The back of the dry erase markers have little erasers on them, which is great. The trivia card goes into a little sleeve. You ask the question and as you go down the clues 1-4, you slide it up out of the sleeve (that way you don’t see clues before you want to). I liked that because it makes it so the person asking the question can also fairly play that round. The first is the actual question, which starts at 5 points. The next is a worded clue to the answer, which is 4 points. Next is another worded clue, which is 3 points. The final clue is a picture, which is 2 points. When you have your guess, you write it on your little dry erase board and place it on the level of the pyramid where you are (so if you guess when the question is first read, you place it on level 5. If you guess when the first clue is given, you place it on level 4. If you guess when the next clue is given, you place it on level 3. And so on). Once the answer is read, whoever got it right gets the points at the level their dry erase board is sitting. Now, my thoughts on the game….The clues start off as like a little hint and then go to pretty easy, with the last photo being the easiest. This is nice so people with all different levels of knowledge can still play and get a chance. I also found that the trivia questions weren’t too hard. I was able to answer more than I thought I would at higher levels. The game is fun for me, who isn’t usually that good at trivia games, and for my son who loves trivia. It’s a nice mix of questions from different categories. I didn’t feel like we were just reading questions with him spitting off answers right away and me waiting on the easiest clue (which is honestly how I thought it would go 😂). That’s not saying the questions are easy. I think it’s just a nice mix of questions that allow both of us to have a chance. The game board is unique and different, but it has its faults. When you open the board, it doesn’t want to sit flat, which makes it so the pyramid doesn’t really want to sit flat on top of it. That can easily be fixed by working the board so it opens completely and lays flat. But, the pyramid part is just cardboard and not thick, firm cardboard. So, it’s pretty flimsy. It also has a glossy coating on it. So, sitting the little dry erase boards onto the levels isn’t the easiest. They constantly want to slide off either because the pyramid is kind of slanting or the glossy coating. It ended up so we just stopped setting the boards on the levels and just saying out load what level we were guessing at, which kind of defeats the purpose of the fun, unique pyramid.I love the envelope the card goes into to slide it up and out to see the clues. But, it is also made of cardboard, the thin kind. So, I don’t see them holding up very well for too long unless handled carefully. Of course, since my son is 16, I don’t see it being an issue for us. But, if you have younger kids handing it, it could end up falling apart quickly. So, it’s definitely best to handling them carefully. It has a ton of trivia cards that have questions on both the front and back. The only problem is there is no way to decipher the different sides. So, it is hard to keep track of them so you don’t get the same questions right away. The way we decided to do it was to ask the question on the front side of the card, and then flip it over and ask the question on the back. Then, we set it aside and keep that pile separated with a rubber band. Once we go through them all, we’ll mix them all back up and I feel like there’s enough cards that the game will still be fun to play even once we’ve been through them all.Overall, we really enjoyed this game and it’s a fun take on trivia games. It’s fun to play for trivia lovers and ones like me who aren’t the best when it comes to trivia. It has a nice range of questions. There are a few downsides but I don’t see them as deal breakers. I think it’s priced fairly for a board game like this too. If you’re a fan of trivia games or you have a lover of trivia games but you usually don’t enjoy them, give this one a try!
