5.0 out of 5 stars What a helpful serum
I have extremely sensitive skin on my face and this serum makes my face, and me, relax almost immediately. It feels that good. You don’t need much, I use 2 drops. What a difference it makes.I have had trouble with many recommended facial products but not this! For me, this is the best.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product. Expensive but will last.
In mid-February my state had some bitter cold temps on top of already being very arid. My skin started peeling and nothing, no moisturizers I used, was helping. The price on this isn’t fun, BUT since it’s meant to help your skin recover I only use it when needed and a little in my moisturizer goes a long way so it’s been a good investment. No scent, perfect for my sensitive skin, and helped my skin recover in a matter of days. Overall excellent product but really only needed if you’ve had some sort of chemical treatment or is in dire need of recovery.

Works like a dream James Welsh recommend it I love it
3.0 out of 5 stars Pleasant enough, although I don't know that I'd pay $85 for it
It seems like basically a lightweight moisturizing serum, and it's pleasant enough, but I'm not sold on the idea that the ingredients are anything special. Nothing on the product page or the packaging tells me what's different about this than many other products on the market. The list of ingredients is long, and the top two are water and glycerin. The only claim the product package makes is that "Omegas + Ceramides Deliver a restorative barrier treatment to help minimize irritation and rebalance sensitized skin." Not sure what that is supposed to mean to me, but at $85 for a little bottle, I'm not that excited. What's different about this compared to a thousand other products on the market that all make vague claims? And it left my skin sticky, as products containing a lot of glycerin generally do. I'm not that excited.
5.0 out of 5 stars This is a fantastic serum!
I have a more oily skin type, yet am developing some fine lines and wrinkles in my 40's that I am trying to keep at bay. It's hard finding serums that aren't too oily for my face, as I really need something to mainly help with my little lines that isn't too heavy. This Kate Somerville DeliKate Recovery Serum is perfect for me. It's lightweight and absorbs right into my skin, creating a nice protective barrier that locks in my natural moisture without making my face look greasy. It seems to have a little bit of lifting action around my eyes, somehow - or reduces puffiness. After applying this, the area around my eyes went from tired-looking and a little puffy to looking bright-eyed with no puffiness whatsoever, which was pretty darn awesome! I know this isn't specifically an eye serum, but it works great in that area for me, for some reason.I was a little worried after putting this on and feeling a slight tingly sensation, as I have sensitive skin. It felt nice, but sometimes that can be followed by a lot of irritation with some products. "Here we go!" I thought, and I was bracing myself for a red irritated rash and/or burning. The tingly sensation faded and then went away completely - and it never developed into anything at all. In fact, it was actually rather soothing. Sometimes products will feel that way at first and then I have a bad reaction to it, but thankfully, it was all good. When I applied it again a second time, I relaxed and enjoyed the slight soothing sensation. I like it!There's no fragrance that I can detect with this serum, and it makes my skin soft. It goes on perfectly under my makeup without any issues, too. You can wear this alone or follow with the Recovery Cream afterwards for added "repair" and "restoration" of your skin. (The cream, for the record, works well with this, and is super thick. I highly recommend it along with this serum if you have dry skin - it will feel fantastic!)Overall, I absolutely love this serum for my skin type - this is definitely a new favorite of mine, and I've tried a LOT of different serums over the years. It certainly gets two thumbs up from me!
2.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money
I wrecked my skin barrier from over exfoliating. I used this for several weeks and it’s didn’t do anything special at all. Bottle almost $100, I expect spectacular results. Once I stopped using it n started only using Cerave Hydrating face wash, Drunk Elephant Hydra B serum, and Cerave PM lotion, my skin got back to normal in no time. Sometimes the simple, less expensive options are better.Kate should be ashamed she priced this crap the way she did. I would not buy this!
5.0 out of 5 stars Only Thing That worked
I found this at a Marshals 1/2 price and I’m contemplating buying it at full price . The stuff works, it was the ONLY thing besides Vaseline that I could put on my damaged cheeks caused by retinol.
Game changer for my face
It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and is one of the products that has made the biggest difference in my complexion. It is extremely soothing and feels moisturising and repairing.I absolutely love this stuff.
