My old coasters were cheap and terrible and can't soak up anything - i've put a glass of iced soda on it before and discovered afterwards that ALL th ewater went through it down to the table. Talk about useless. I finally got around to buying new coasters and my #1 requirement is that it must be able to soak up water. I saw some ppl say these don't soak up any liquid but since majority said they do, I decided to take a chance.GOOD CHOICE. I've been using it with my tall glass of iced soda and so far it's soaking up the condensation like no other. the outside of my glass gets so much liquid dripping down, one time i picked it up and it splattered water all over my lap, that's how much condensation it gets. This coaster soaks it up like it's no biggie. it doesn't soak down to the cork bottom either, result is that my table is finally safe!!!The material says it's ceramic stone, but it's definitely not like any ceramic i've ever used before. When it arrived they were separated with individual plastic sheets to protect them, sitting inside the metal stand (which is great, I totally forgot it came with it). There was a layer of white dust (ceramic dust?) on top that i...wiped off on my shirt actually, because I discovered a wet cloth actually doesn't work too well because it's not a smooth surface. the top of it is basically like a very finely sanded...flower pot? It's got like this soft touch thing, and I love it because my glass doesn't clack/clink against it. In any case, wiped it off on my shirt and then tossed my shirt in the wash, all good.If you need inexpensive coasters that looks good and will absorb water like no other, I HIGHLY recommend these!!!

Wanted something simple and elegant for my house so I purchased these coasters. I loved the marble look and that it came with a coaster holder to stay organized. There were plenty of coasters provided so no cups in my house is left without a coaster. One of em got stained with chamoy but it was super easy to clean. Absorbs well and haven't had any issues with them. The cork grip beneath it holds well so it doesn't slip around the table. Highly recommend this product.

It came in packaged very well, each individual coaster wrapped in bubble wrap. Nothing was damaged or chipped during transit. I read other reviews and was worried that the metal holder would be too small for the coasters, but it actually fits pretty well and is loose enough to easily take out the coasters with no issue. The cork on the bottom of the coaster prevents it from sliding around and stays put. The coasters are absorbent and I had no issues with water piling up.However, there are issues with staining and chipping overtime (I had these since November 29th). I tried wiping the stain off and washing the coaster but nothing really worked, thankfully it’s not too noticeable. Though I imagine with vigorous use stains will start to show more. If you drink coffee or dark drinks often, the coaster won’t stay white for long. I’m not sure why the coaster started chipping, but I have a feeling it’s because I drink a lot of hot drinks or the coasters are probably just cheap. If you’re not too keen on having a neat appearance it’s a good coaster. It does the job. Better to have the coaster stained than my desk.

Love the way these look and feel. They are not flimsy at all and they look great on display in their holder. I think they will last a long time. Great for my son’s new apartment. The marble motif looks expensive.

These six coasters come with a good looking, functional holder. They won't curl or warp and have a cork base so they will continue to absorb and won't slide. I am very satisfied with this choice, and feel they would work with any decor.

They match my living room perfectly. They absorb the sweat from the glass. I also like that they have a cork bottom. Doesn’t scratch the coffee table.

I'm very happy with this set. I did add felt cushions to the bottom of the little metal holder so it won't scratch my furniture. The coasters are great, much better than a different set i purchased which are made of leather and stick to glasses with the condensation. I will probably order another set as we need more than 6.
