Heavy duty. I am using this on a air hose they will never break compared to brass that will. I bought a 1/2" air hose it takes 3/8"npt fittings with 1/4" body same as my 20 gallon vertical air compresser. This will work perfect and still have better presure than a standard 3/8" hose. They are not really that big but they are heavy though and heavy duty. They even came with teflon tape.
