I needed a night light for a larger kitchen area that actually would light more than just the outlet. This is awesome and BRIGHT. I replaced an incandescent bulb in a light that had an on/off switch not a dusk to dawn or motion sensor. It was the only LED bulb I could find that was actually bright, a white color rather than yellow and not too large. I absolutely love it. A different shape than other bulbs but works great. I measured the light before buying. Other reviews mention having to screw it in tighter than other bulbs to make contact…that is true…but once done it is perfect. Especially useful for elderly with diminished night vision. None of the LED so called bright nightlights I tried first came even close. Not sure of longevity as only recently received.
5.0 out of 5 stars Doesn’t work with my dimmer - CHANGING MY REVIEW
I have a five light chandelier with a dimmer switch. I replaced all five lights with these bulbs. Turned on the lights and all was great for a while. Then it felt like I was having a stroke. They flicker like crazy then they are fine, but after about 20 minutes they repeat the flickering. They are good lights but don’t function correctly.UPDATE: The seller read my review and has refunded my money and even given me some insight as to why these lights may not work. We will check our dimmer switches to ensure they are not just for the old halogen dimmer bulbs and replace them and try again. Great seller to work with and very accomodating.

These bulbs are LED - dimmable - and give great light for reading. My old bulbs had a yellow cast and although dimmable they were terrible for reading. I am very happy with this purchase and the price was great!

The lightbulbs will last a long time because they are LED. The light is soft instead of the harsh white light so that is a plus in my book.

Great lamps after one day of use!
These lamps are very bright and nice soft white of 2700K color. They're truly dimmable with an old fashion Lutron incandescent light dimmer without flickering. It goes from 0% to 100%. Impressive! Let's now hope they last! Got 6 for 25 CAD after coupon rebate. Great deal in my opinion.
1 out 6 bulb does NOT work
Great LED bulbs but one out of the 6 bulb does not work. It lights but extremely faint. I have tried to contact seller on this issue but so far no response.
Good value, nice lights
These lights work well wth a dimmer switch and provide nice, soft-white light. Also, they are lower priced than the ones at the local big box stores.
Works as promised
Too bad the illuminated area of the bulb does notExtend all the way down to the base… still, a good product for the money. Works well with a dimmer … from watching TV to vaccum cleaning the room, the dimming feature is big; for me… :)
Warm tone, no buzzing, nice dimming
Finally a bulb with a warm tone, it glows very slightly yellow instead of cool white. No buzzing/humming, nor flickering when dimming. I tried so many bulbs and it was super frustrating but these are perfect.
