I've been a dedicated fan of Mushroom Coffee for 8 years now, and Four Sigmatic was my initial gateway into this unique beverage. I owe them gratitude for sparking my love for functional mushrooms. Having the Four Sigmatic ground coffee is nice for having an occasional cup of brewed coffee. I enjoy the bold flavor and strength. The only concern I have is that they don’t clearly state how much of a dose you are getting with each cup, so it’s hard to measure what I’m putting into my body. I’ve tried a handful of brands this year so far including Ryze, Everyday Dose and Lucid Super Coffee. I ended up settling on Lucid which offered the highest dosage. Now Four Sigmatic will stay in my cabinet for my occasional brew, but I won’t count on it for sufficient or accurate dosing. The lesson here is to always read the label and make sure there is transparency around the dosage of mushrooms per serving you are getting.

I have wanted to try mushroom coffee or coffee with mushroom extracts. My problem was I love coffee and I may need the benefits as today instead of work I decided to repot a few plants, but I was worried the coffee would be bad quality. I tried this one because I loved the coffee I got while on a cruise to Honduras. The coffee tasted just like the gold quality coffee I got from there. I have felt more focused, just not focused on what I need to focus on, but I doubt my husband will fire me so I think I'm okay.

The package says to use 4 TABLESPOONS of coffee grinds per 12oz of water. Can this be true? That seems like an awful large amount to use! My "coffee pod" will not even hold that much. I used 1.5 Tablespoons and made the largest serving available on my Cuisinart single serve maker which is 10 oz. I'm really wondering if that amount could be a typo? I'd like to know.Flavor was fine with 1.5 T(My regular coffee grind says to use 2 Tablespoons per 12 oz of water. )

Have had this in the past and I love it! The convenience of shipping to my door for free was nice, but it’s no savings from regular retail, if you can find it in the stores! Keeps you alert and focused without the jitters and caffeine crash I recommend for regular coffee lovers, the taste is no different than a regular cup of Joe

Finally I can enjoy my French Press coffee after taking a break and couldn't find the perfect dark roast taste in other coffee brands. Thank you for this product! It's worth every penny for my enjoyment of a cup a day organic dark roast in the afternoons to energize myself. I just love the taste and what it's benefiting my well being.
